After seeing Somerset play their last games last season with so many young kids, I really felt they would be dangerous this year. I cannot believe Cobb left this late in the year, I'm sure there is a reason, it is just hard to believe.

Next years middle school class (8th grade) will be staggering though. There are a ton of 8th graders.

1 guy doesn't make a team, overall Burg' is big and tall, they don't look like they did 6-8 years ago when they were all real little throwing the ball around.

An educated guess would be around 3,500 spread out over 2 nights. Of course this could vary + or - 1,000 if some schools have to travel 4-5 hours., or if it is the schools first appearence.

Was it 2001 when they had a silver helmet with some sort of blue galaxy looking star on it? The same logo was painted on the field that year.

I was thinking they had some other logo on their helmet in the late 90's and even the mid to late 80' besides the one you have in your avatar.

Williamsburg and Somerset will be tough, although they are smaller class size. They both has size and speed that dwarfs Knox Central. Knox Central should win but just letting you know what those two have coming back.

Fair enough. You must not have been in Richmond in the past 2 years, the new shopping center is built and almost 75% of the buildings are full, along with restaraunts and new ones coming all the time.

I can't really see you rationale when your talking population size (which has nothing to do with the state finals) when Richmond is the 6th largest city and Bowling Green is the 4th largest, only 12,000 difference. What is your basis of a true town? And when you say Richmond is no where near the town of Louisville, neither is Bowling Green, but once again what does that have to do with playing football. I'd say Richmond has more or at least equal to the amenities that Bowling Green has to offer, I know for a fact they will in 2011, when this would be a possibilty due to the construction of Little Hamburg in Richmond. WKU's facilities are still debatable, they haven't played a game there yet to judge them and the last game played there, the locker rooms were flooded and security must have been lacking due to the stolen merchandise from the Ky All Stars.:popcorn:
