Johnson Central 29 Rockcastle 7
I think Ian set a new state record tonight with his 16th interception of the year.

Trouble in Ashland already?
To not like baseball means you dont like mom and apple pie either. It's just downright un-American.

Trouble in Ashland already?
It's about time kudos were brought forth for doing the endless , thankless job. But, lets not forget to honor the lineage in this endeavor as well. It's all about Breeding , Breeding , Breeding. :thumb: What would we do without those father figures to make a difference in our lives?

Trouble in Ashland already?
Oh well. I guess there's always those empty coke bottles and popcorn boxes to occupy one's time with.

Trouble in Ashland already?
I'll go ahead a make a few predictions. #1. If Ashland plays poorly you will get on here and talk about how mad and embarrassed you are. #2. If Ashland plays poorly you will initiate the "silent treatment" to all of the threads that pertain to games involving any rival that might happen to be superior to Ashland. #3. If Ashland plays poorly you will change your avatar midway through the season to coach Wilcox and proudly proclaim and crown him the latest and greatest to wear the highly coveted title of "my boy".

Who were some of the best Sweet 16 Teams to win state?
You know oneijoe, actually I made a mistake in stating the year of the Ballard state championship team. It was 1977 that they won the state tournament with Lamp and Raker. The 1976 State champion was Edmonson County who came out of nowhere. Considering that I graduated in '76, that should have been the one year that I would not have gotten things mixed up, but oh well........ I think the last second halfcourt shot you are thinking about was made by Paul Andrews in 1982 when Laurel County beat North Hardin in the finals. Thanks for getting me to rethink the past a little bit closer and correct myself.

KHSAA Baseball State Records
Going into his senior season, Justin Blanton of Johnson Central has been hit 31 times. He was hit 13 times last season. Another season with similar numbers and he will have the dubious (or unlucky) honor of tying that particular record.

From what I was told, that is very short in coming.

Thoughts on Ashland's season
I agree LRCW!!!

Johnson Central 28 Ashland 21
Every other Ashland fan has posted on here how much they loved the PA system, except for those two. And after reading multiple posts from these two and the logic and comments being presented ,I would say that it speaks volumes about what kind of mentality you dealing with in any debate to begin with.

It's all about the numbers on the scoreboard, when the horn blows that matters. Johnson Central- 28 Ashland- 21 Laugh about that one.

Johnson Central 28 Ashland 21
Naw, Todd will never be a Dickie. Only one side is diminishing the games effort by whining that I can see. Every poster from Johnson Central has had nothing but kind words and praise for Ashland and it's effort.

Nov. 7 - Early Signing Period - Who's Signing?
25-30 pounds doesn't seem all that unrealistic to me. Most good conditioning/weight training programs with a good nutrition schedule can easily add that much bulk, especially after four years.

All Area Team for East Kentucky?
I dont know how anybody could possibly leave Michael Tackett and Blake Johnson of Johnson Central off of any list or team. Michael Tackett may be the best example of the definition of what a defensive football player really is that I have ever seen, period. I also think that Johnson was an AP All State selection last year as well.

Will Johnson Central get to the Regional Tournament?
Hey, you weren't known as the "Flash" for nothing. From what I understand, Taylor had a little elbow problem that is better now that he has rested it over the fall. I think that he is fine right now.

Clark vs. Grim
Anyone know how many yards he had coming into this season?
