I wanted to start this thread, to inform others of the various KHSAA State Baseball records. I know many can link to the KHSAA and view this same information but each day or once a week, lets post accomplishments in categories, for those of use who share a passion for KY High School Baseball.

Here is record for most Team State Championships:

 

6 - Owensboro ('64,69,76,77,83.87)

6 - DuPont Manual ('47,52,55,57,59,62)

I believe Joiner was 12-3 in '06 and he lost in the State Tournament, to Beechwood.

I believe, it was stopped during the '06 season.

These are the areas that the Thorobreds rank in the top 10 in either team or individual! But I am sure that the Breds are only this good because of thier field since we play all of our games at home. It also helps to have a small field when you are getting doubles and triples!

Apollo played up there a few years back, and had a couple of guys hit it out of the park for the 1st time in their varsity careers.

I remember that, they were 31-6 but went 1-1 up there.

After looking over these records, I would have to think that Brad Wilkerson of Apollo is the best all around player ever in the state. These are his rankings for his career.
