Everything I've read on him says that he has the bat, but he's just a player without a position.

 

Last that i heard, the Reds wanted him to be a Ryan Freel type of utility player. But IMO I don't think he is that kind of player. If he makes it, it will have to be as a 3rd baseman. I think he is in the outfield now, but being only about 5'11 or 6' hurts him a lot with his chances of making it.

During the post season of Boyd County's last state championship (2002-2003 I believe.) Pitcher, Jeff Robbins, did not allow a baserunner to advance past second base throughout the entire post season. I dont think its any kind of record but still very impressive.

Agreed and I'm certain, several others would be in many categories but never submitted to the KHSAA.

 

Some of these season and career totals, are very impressive. Just shows how good high school baseball in Kentucky, really is.
