200 yards, and you held him in check?.. .................. You ought to see him on a night when he runs wild. That should put him very close to 2,000 on the season.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I can only remember Johnson Central's starting defense giving up 2 touchdowns all year.

Boyd County vs Ashland predictions
What in the heck do you have to be mad or embarrassed about. It's one thing to make that statement if your boys dont come mentaly or physically ready to play, or just quit. I saw neither case friday night. I thought that Ashland's kids played their hearts out and didn't quit. What more would you want out of them. My God son you lost 18 seniors last year. Regardless of what you think, Ashland is not always going to be better than every one at every thing, every year. I dont ever remember seeing your name in the weekly headlines about the outstanding performances that you used to put up. Was everybody in Ashland posting on websites about how embarrassed they were by the way that you played or when you weren't able to continue playing? People love to take jabs back at you because you are such a danged easy target. I like to have a little fun at your expense , but seriously it is all just good natured fun , and that's all. You need to grow up a little and realize that these are 15-18 year old KIDS playing a game, and stop this WE ARE ASHLAND crap. You certainly never did anything yourself to warrant being able to make statements such as this. I saw nothing out of Ashland's performance that deserved that statement that you could be personally embarrasssed for. All you can ask out of any kid is to come out and give an effort that is of the best of their ability and for the coaching staff to have them prepared to the best of their ability. And that is exactly what all parties involved did. Ashland just ran into a darn good football team friday night and one that is just plain better this year, and that's all. The only thing that I could be embarrassed about if I were an Ashland supporter , would be to have fans make statements such as what you just made about my program and my boys and in the way in which you conduct yourself on this website sometimes.

Ah, what ya have here Dark Horse are not your everyday run of the mill, Wal-Mart vintage headsets. Those are specially designed headsets that were developed by NASA engineers to filter out unwanted bleedover from 1,000,000 megawatt SuperStation 93.7 WDICK-FM radio. They are designed to scramble all unwanted demeaning gibberish and that seems to radiate from that frequency just when you are trying to listen to the broadcasts of your own local high school football or basketball games. They are not cheap but they are worth every penny they cost. I personally mortgaged my home to obtain one of these babies. These devices are also multi-functional in that they can also be used as emergency ear saving devices in the event that Todd Conley goes crazy one night and starts playing rap music at a Johnson Central ballgame.:thumb: *********************** In a related story that I found in today's Wall Street Journal, I see that in the meanwhile, until a decision of a complaint filed by the owners of radio station WDICK-FM with the FCC is being determined whether it is lawful to own a set of these headsets is made, the Ashland Sporting Goods Company is offering a device that descrambles the scrambling effect created by these state-of-the-art headsets. These, it says, can be purchased @ Ashland Sporting Goods for $79.99 or can be obtained from the bottom of a box of Cocoa Pebbles. These counteractive devices are also multi-functional as well in that they may also be used to distort all undesirable music and humerous one-liners that are generated from sound systems of certain rival's football games . The article also goes on to tell of one particular Ashland, Kentucky resident ordering an unpresidented number of these anti-oneliner eliminating devices causing General Mills to put on an extra shift to meet demand. General Mills stock shows to be at an all-time high and investors seem to think a 2 for 1 stock split is eminent.

If it was played in the '76 football season then he would not have played in that game because I am pretty sure he graduated in '76, but if it was played in the '75 season then he would have been in that game.

If the game was played in '75 then that would have been the graduating '76 class right?
-
Johnson Central 35 Ashland 7
Not only is he an alumni of that team, he actually played in that game.

Whoa here now!!!! You mean to tell me that a fan of a team that has a certain guy in the broadcast booth has the nerve to say anything about someone else's program not having class?

I was thinking maybe a little Johnny Cash.

All of this from a fan from the school that came up with the "wide right" T-Shirt. But I guess that is OK because it's Ashland. I think this goes way past sour grapes. Smells more like rotten grapes.

I realize without a doubt that you dont care (duh...) , which on all accounts leads to why everyone else takes your statements to mean just exactly as you intend them. It's your arrogance to the intelligence of everyone else on this board that makes you highly unpopular.

Johnson Central 35 Ashland 7
The thing is, you are apparently unable to sit back and really see how you actually come across with your statements.

Yeah Lou Holtz publicly used to play the "poor me" card all the time with the news media too. The statement I got from this particular coach was a personal assessment "not made for media" statement.

That is exactly my point. You need to get out and see a little more than to just sit on the lazy boy before you spout off about how good a team is or is not that is 350 miles from your cozy abode. Again I quoted a comment from a Lex. Cath coach. You saying you know more than one of their coaches?

Best running back in region 4 class AAA...
Actually Miller plays for Rockcastle Co. Rockcastle played Perry Central last night.
-
Best running back in region 4 class AAA...
The actual numbers for each coming into last night had Miller slightly above Grim. Miller: 1,656 yards with an 207.0 per game average Grim: 1,468 yards with an 183.5 per game average.

Johnson Central 35 Ashland 7
Those figures that I gave were for all classes combined.
-
Johnson Central 35 Ashland 7
Coming into the game he was ranked #7 in yards per game, and #6 in total yard gained.

Best running back in region 4 class AAA...
The thing about Grimm is that he is only getting to play probably on average 2 and a half quarters a game.

I'll give you a little something that you can put in your all knowing pipe to smoke westsider. I had a Lexington Catholic coach tell me that watched Johnson Central play that Johnson Central would beat his own Knights. Yeah, thats the same Johnson Central team that you have never seen, and probably the same Lex. Catholic team you have not seen either.
