What's your opinion?

Shawn Grimm has done a great job so far this season...but I haven't really seen any others...so I need some stats on other before I make a prediction

No disrespect to any of the young men you all are referring to, but to be honest, Jordan Kramer of Highlands is hands down the best RB in AAA imo.

That's how I feel. Last year this sight was eat up with running back talk. There was talk on another thread about the kid from Ashland pulling away from the pack in this reagion as the premier running back. I was just curious how every one else in the region felt about this statement.

Ten yards a carry with eleven td's is impressive. Against the competition Highlands plays are you kidding me!

While I agree that he probably is the best back in 3A, that wasn't the question. In reply to the original post, my vote goes for Thomas, but I am bias.

I would take the Bragg kid from Clay over any other in class AAA. He does all he does in a passing offense. The Qb averages over 400 yards passing but Bragg gets over 100 yards a game. That is impressive. I would take the kid from Leslie and the kid from Lynn Camp after Bragg. I know that they are playing in 2A and A but they are still more than solid.

In my opinion the best back in AAA region 4 will be the back on the team playing in the semi-finals, and I guarantee you this he will probably tell you that also.

He is averaging close to 180 yds a game but has yet to play a full game with many of JC's games being put away by the 4th quarter. Last week in 2 quarters against Lawrence Co. he had over 200 yds and 4 TD's. He is definately a good all around back that still has alot of room to grow just being a junior.

The point of this thread seems to be comparing Thomas to Grimm. That’s hard to do before the showdown on October 20 - so far their teams have not played a common opponent.

 

Since they are both juniors we should get to enjoy this debate all next year too.

I remember Johnson from last year's game at Ashland. He impressed me - a very solid back.
