Miller from Rockcastle has some impressive stats the last few weeks.

He has had some outstanding #'s the past few weeks. He and Shawn Grimm have to be the top 2 backs in this Region. After watching Thomas of Ashland last week in person I was not impressed at all and the JC defense should have a lot of TFL on him.

I hope you are right.

His only success against the LC defense was runs to the outside. When he has a run up the middle he tends to dance around in the backfield searching for a hole to open up and he shys away from contact. That should allow Tackett and Johnson, which usually dont have much trouble finding the ball, to get to him in the backfield. Ashlands WR do block well on the outside but I look for Dillon and Dials to turn alot of plays inside from their DE positions for the Linebackers and D-line to clean up.

Yea...I know it's hard to be impressed with 185 yards on 18 carries!!

Against a defense that Johnson Centrals Shawn Grimm hung 250 yds and 4 TD's on 8 carries, all in a 1 half, I would say yes.

Dusty Miller has over 900 yards rushing for Rockcastle, .... in his last 3 games alone! He has my vote for best back in AAA right now.

What big teams have rockcastle played? And there is no way he is better than Kramer, this kid ran for more yards in the first half of the St.X game than St.X had allowed all game previously to other teams.

Why do we keep getting Kramer in this thread? It is about AAA Region 4. No disrespect to NKY since I live here, but not every star player has to come from here. I am not going to debate which kid is the best because there is no way to tell at this point in the season. There are no common opponents or anything else to compare the two kids. I guess if both teams make it far enough in the playoffs to have a Rock vs Highlands Round III then we will know the answer.

I'm hoping to see a Grimm-Miller matchup first.;)

Thomas does not like contact and if you get to him in the backfield he is not effective. If he gets through the hole and into open space he is as good as anybody. LBs beware and don't overflow. Watch out for the counter.

Better not focus to much on keeping Thomas inside. If you sell out and committ your defensive ends and linebackers to stop Thomas, those WRs that don't block will spread the field and pick up big yardage on the outside. Ashland has very good balance on offense.

Miller was the Rockets sole weapon against a very solid Bell County team.

The Rock came out on top after he posted 270 yds.

After tonight you can put to rest the Grimm - Thomas debate. Thomas wasn't even the best back on his team, Davis was. Thomas wanted no part of JC's defense. The coaching staff quit giving him the ball. Grimm on the other hand was hit harder tonight than any other game this year and he kept bringing it to the Tomcats. Unless Mason has someone better he is hands down the best in the district. I'm hoping to get to see Miller from Rock
