Sorry, but I believe that there are game situations where the coach goes into it believing that its going to be a long night. You still coach to win, but both you and your players know that your in for a thrashing. Too many planets have to line up for you even to stand a chance. Too many things must go right for your team and wrong for the other team. Like I said, you coach to win and try to inspire your team that the game isn't lost before the final whistle blows.

They're implosion last year was obviously caused by immaturity on the squad. But was the implosion then what caused this squad to mature this year? Go Dawgs!

Some of these schools don't realize how badly they messed up by killing their wrestling programs. Did the football program have anything to do with killing it or was it an administration decision?

No win situation for the refs. Call less fouls and the teams are getting too physical. Call more fouls and you're not letting the kids play. Show up to officiate and you're the reason why the team lost.

This sounds like just what the doctor ordered for Holmes. Long bus ride with a game against a good team on a hostile court. They need these kind of psychological challenges now for when the end of season tournaments arrive. Which ones?? :lol:

Does Williamstown have to play its district and regional opponents or can they opt to play other teams where they might have half a chance? And I agree about SK. If Williamstown only scores 13, then 69 points for SK is VERY conservative.

Can we define a great deep bench as being a team that doesn't worry about ANY starter fouling out? Are there any teams like that?
