  1. It is great to hear that Alyson is doing well and back on the court. The best of luck to her this season.
  2. Although Jodi is a Beechwood graduate, she has no interest in leaving Ludlow schools. She is happy teaching and coaching at Ludlow and had put many hours into building her program, and has done a fantastic job. I spoke with her today and she is happy where she is at.
  3. Matt is a great coach and will be greatly missed at Beechwood.
  4. Whether he inherited a good team or not, he had three very successful seasons. There are other coaches in NKY that have inherited good teams and the success did not continue in those respective programs. Coach P had three good years - he made it to state one year and to the regional finals. Not many coaches have accomplished that in three years. Every program is going to have players and parents that have their issues with the coach. It is a difficult job and you can not please everyone.
  5. Has the coach at Oak Hills announced that he is leaving? He is a good coach and was not aware that he was leaving.
  6. I see Lloyd winning this one. Harper and the Lockard sisters will dominate the boards and bring home a victory.
  7. What a great honor for Aleyx and Kaela Jo. They are both very strong players. Good luck to them this club season.
  8. She was their tall middle (6'1+). She has grown to be a nice player over the last few years. She is strong at the net.
  9. For the record, Mike Woolf did not apply for the Conner Head Coaching position, and he did not apply for the Lloyd Head Coaching position.
  10. This is getting ugly quickly. I say we keep the thread to the news about the coaching prospects. Keep in mind these people work in our community and do not deserve to have their reputations bashed.
  11. I thought Division I was Andrea Zuckerman of Ryle. All the players are very deserving.
  12. Trinity is an impressive football program and they do deserve the respect. Congratulations on a well played game Thursday night. Raiders congratulations on making it to the finals.
  13. Ryle deserved to be there just as much as anyone else. They won the games that they had to win. There are other sports in the KHSAA that the two best teams in the state do not make it to the final. You cannot fault the kids for this. Congratulations to the boys at Ryle for working hard and getting to the finals.
  14. Congratulations to the Raiders on a great season!
  15. How did Ryle score on the last TD?
  16. I said college degree not teaching degree. I believe the law states college degree.
  17. KHSAA law states that a head football coach must have a college degree to be a level one coach (football and basketball). Word at Conner is that applications will be accepted until December 10th and the entire process will be completed by Christmas.
  18. Congratulations to Coach Stellman on a fine coaching career. Thank you for all that you have done for the Cougars over the years.
  19. ok - in that case Emily Beiting and Tara Enzweiler perhaps for 2nd team instead of Honorable Mention.
  20. What do you mean by surprises? I think the talent of NKY is well represented on the list.
  21. Congratulations to all the players and coaches!
  22. Congratulations to Ryle on a back to back win over Dixie!!!
  23. Huge win for Campbell County. I am glad to see the Camels coming around. Coach Styer has done a great job with the program.
  24. Impressive win for the Raiders. Bring the state ttitle home to Union!
