Congratulations to Assumption once again. I am very impressed by St. Henry. There were a lot of people who doubted them. They did a fantastic job at Regionals and had a great state tournament as well! Way to go Crusaders and excellent job representing NKY!

And I would love this to be the miracle. We need some new champions!

There is hope, but NDA and Cincy Mercy are not Assumption. It is ridiculous how good they are. The perfection of their ball control is amazing and that is why they are at a different level.

Campbell County made it to the Semi-Finals of state when they had a very strong team a few years back with Leah Ballinger, Charmian Craig, Dawn Sparks, Jennifer Kennedy, Erin Ling, Lindsay Craig and Megan McElveen. It has traditionally been a private school dominated finals. Anyone know of any other public schools to make it?

Congrats to NCC and Campbell County. Both have had a nice season and deserve to be in the final. I wish it were close to home so I could see it. Any team can win on any given night. My guess is that both teams will show up to play in this one and it will be a hard fought match and an exciting Regional Championship!

I predict the Breds to kill Montgomery County. The final should be NCC vs Campbell.

NCC is the favorite with CC, Highlands and Brossart behind the Breds.

Amazing! It would be unbelievable to coach a club team of that caliber, but to have a high school team like that would be an ultimate dream as a coach.

Boone looked very good against Ryle. I think it will be a low scoring, hard fought game. Boone by a touchdown.

Well, the draw stinks for Beechwood, but is great for Ludlow. Ludlow/Cov Lat cannot be blamed since they are doing what is in the best interest of their STUDENT ATHLETES. Isn't that why we are all in this? Where do we place the blame? KHSAA. They should make it all seed or all draw so we do not have these problems. There should be a uniform system. End of story.

I checked out the Russell schedule and do not see any state ranked teams. I am not saying the teams Russell plays are not talented but maybe not in the realm of the Assumption's or even the Butler/Ryle/Beechwood group. I would find it very difficult for any public school to win state in volleyball, though I would love to see it.

That would be my guess. When do St. Henry and NDA play? I think that will be a great match.

Highlands 10.Bishop Brossart I have heard that Holy Cross has looked good at times this season. As much as I would love to see Conner in the top ten, they are just not getting it done. They have the talent, but have lost some close matches, and have not performed up to their ability. Plus, Brossart beat Conner in a close one.
