Can't say for sure boom.When you try to access the history on the KHSAA website you get an error page.But if there were any in the finals there pretty few.

I will try to find my state tourney program from last year. I think they had all the teams listed.

Campbell County made it to the Semi-Finals of state when they had a very strong team a few years back with Leah Ballinger, Charmian Craig, Dawn Sparks, Jennifer Kennedy, Erin Ling, Lindsay Craig and Megan McElveen. It has traditionally been a private school dominated finals.

Anyone know of any other public schools to make it?

Beechwood was in the semis in 2002 and Tates Creek last year.

 

St. Henry is the only private in the lower bracket this year. If South Oldham or Lex Lafeyette can upset the Cru then there will be a public school finalist this year.

As far as I remember there have been a total of ZERO public school teams in the state championship in volleyball.

Its why they play the game.I dont think a whole lot of folks gave the Cru much of a chance against Notre Dame after there regular season match and look what happened.But the NCC upset would be a shocker.Not because NCC is bad because they are not.It's because Assumption is that good.I'll be pulling for the Breds.:ylsuper:

NCC did beat Cincinnati Mercy who beat Notre Dame twice so maybe there is some hope.

There is hope, but NDA and Cincy Mercy are not Assumption. It is ridiculous how good they are. The perfection of their ball control is amazing and that is why they are at a different level.
