Who will start at QB this season? I think once they solve this question they will be fine.

I am not sure anyone knows what to think. They will be better this year than last, not sure how much better. They have some kids that have moved into the district that will really help them. They return 4 starters on the O-line. Question for them will who will play QB.

Word I have heard is former Carroll Co coach will be the new coach.

I am not a fan of spring scrimmage because 10 days is not enough time get a body ready for kind of impact. I would be a bigger game of moving 7 on 7 back to June. I think that was a big mistake.

My concern is we now have officials over ruling trainers and doctors that a team may have on the side line. Also I want to know if official allows a kid to play and then something happens to the kid - Now the officials can be held liable. This is a bad move. This puts officials in a bad place unless each crew will have an assigned athletic trainer to travel with them - free of charge to the schools

Why I don't disagree with what your saying. Contract or not there is a way out of it. Contracts are broken all the time. From what I understand this has nothing to do with the game itself.

First when the series started back in 2002 both teams coming off bad seasons. No one was trying to play FCHS because they had 0-10 record. Secondly like I said back in the fall FCHS should drop both Frankfort and Western Hills and toughen up their schedule. This may be an issue when early playoff exits for the Flyers. Play someone in 5A or 4A that will prepare you. The gates are not as good as the have been back when this thing started. So I wouldn't get to excited about tickets sales. As far breaking the agreement - contracts are broken all the time. If Frankfort has broken the contract they should have to pay the fee? I am sure since the game is important the fee should be a nice one.

Recruiting is a business for both sides. It is a dirty game that is played by coaches and recruits. For coaches it is about wins and losses. For the kids it about Bigger stages. What would help recruit is they stop hold press conference with 3 and 4 hats to choose from. That is the one thing that gets under my skin how people are drawn to a decision. On coaches side I would hate for any AD to tell a coach he had to stick with the recruits from previous coach. If that is the case shouldn't have let the old coach go.

Frankfort has some high profile graduates that live outside the state. Foley has found away to tap into those grads.

Frankfort High is in the process of landing some major funds for the program. Turf field and new stadium.

WKU venue is great. I do think they have to think of another location just because this problem could happen yearly.

I decided not to attend because of how the games are scheduled. I like them together. I know KHSAA had difficult time but don't think it was best solution. I hope they understand WKU could make this an issue every season and think about moving the finals

Congrats to Pikeville. I would agree once Beechwood took the lead I thought this one was over. Hats off to Pikeville for not folding. True Champions don't fold they just keep playing.

The KHSAA will have to think about moving, because WKU could easily host the championship game there every year. WKU really has things rolling in the right direction.
