What does Franklin County need to do to improve in 2016? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Franklin County has to get disciplined, need to refocus in the off season. Last years team were led by a group of seniors who just did not possess the qualities needed to win tough games. I had watched that group from theirs sophomore year on and did not see the improvement. Maybe that is coaching, maybe that was just them who knows. This year should see an improvement in that area but not as talented in the area of speed.

To me the lines will be the strength, kids have really grown and developed in the weight room. Coach James returns from Boyle as offensive coordinator, and Coach Ledford will run the defense next year. I think you will see a lot of new faces playing and they will have to get better each week to be any good in the post season.

Flyers will be thin in the top two classes, seniors and Junior classes have some great players and character but thin in numbers, team will need to be in shape and tough. I follow them on social media and by the looks of it kids who I considered tiny last year are 30 lbs. bigger. So hopefully that transfers to the field.

Is Franklin County 5A? If so, how do you like their chances in their district this year?

Is Franklin County 5A? If so, how do you like their chances in their district this year?

Franklin County is in 4A, with arguably the most tough district in the class with Collins, Shelby, Spencer and North Oldham. I can see the district being an arms race between Shelby, Collins and Spencer. However, to be fair, at this time last year Shelby was picked last and they only ended up winning district and region.. so anything can happen.

Man not much respect for FCHS in district talk. Time will tell.

Who will start at QB this season? I think once they solve this question they will be fine.

Qb spot is open for the taking. The two that will most likely be in the Running are Senior Dalton Landrum,or Jeremiah Green Junior. Both are fast and strong. Seeing them on social media they are both strong kids from lifting numbers and both can run. I am curious as well to see who wins out.

Any Reports from spring yesterday?

They have two good QB's going after it. Kids hustled from what I seen towards end, no pads yet so hard to tell.

I think both QB's are going to be strong for Franklin County. They both looked good last week in spring practice. It should be interesting who wins the job. I was also impressed with the Offensive line and the depth they have this year. There are a number of new players competing for positions. There will be a lot of new faces on the field this year.

Team looked to be down number wise when I drove by. thin Senior class, how is this years freshman incoming.

Hard to judge numbers during spring practice. With the skill players playing baseball and running track it can be deceiving.
