Vegas typically is pretty good about point spreads. But being a Card fan No way I would give 9.5 points. Their defense has been awful this season. This game for me is a pick’em. Here is why: UK for some reason comes out strong on offense but puts the breaks on for the rest of the game. UL defense has just been awful can’t stop the run or pass.

I could care less who is what Region. What makes me scratch my head KHSAA talks about travel for schools. Yet this move doesn’t fit that description. Secondly when a member school has person on the Board of controls and it appears they are the only school to benefit from a move that doesn’t meet my first point. It appears some funny business took place.

Hats off to KCD on good season. I know those seniors can be proud of what they accomplished last two seasons. What does KCD have returning?

Exactly! To often Adults get in the way of kids enjoying their season. Most kids have 4 years to play high school athletics. Let the kids enjoy them.

VOR What about this - only teams make the playoffs are teams that have won at least 5 state titles.

I have been part of blow outs on both sides. Neither is fun. But when I have gotten my butt kicked, it lights a fire inside me to get better at coaching. Get my team better.

I have to agree with Tall Trees... Every year this site debates playoffs who should get in and who shouldn’t. Bottom line we have 6 classes, instead of being critical how about supporting every kid that spends his Friday nights playing for his school and his teammates. Six class system isn’t changing anytime soon. So if you are tired of blowouts how about volunteering at a local school that gets blown out every year... I’m sure their coaching staff could use some help. Someone should show up at Belfry this morning talk to the coaching staff about getting blown out. Tell them they don’t need to be in the playoffs. Sometimes you need watch the game and not the score. Example would be the Beechwood/KCD game. Looking at the score it doesn’t seem like it was a good game. But watching it you see how close it was for majority of the time.

I thought once KCD settled down and started running the football. They had success and Beechwood had trouble slowing the run game down. Then KCD for some reason decided to throw the football and Beechwood had back to back picks. It was over after that.. Congrats to Beechwood.
