I was on a backyard football team, and we went undefeated for 4 years..:ylsuper: :banana: We only played one team about 20 times, and they didn't stand a chance.

I agree with you on this, I have seen in many cases the runner slide over the bag. The 2nd basemen was right on top of the base...what the runner supposed to do?

He did. The runner on 3rd stayed.

I didnt see the interview, but I did see him yelling at the camera...I was wondering if thats what he was talking about.

The biggest thing I had a problem with is that they would play music and talk till right before the pitcher was ready to pitch, and then start the "5th inning stretch"...too much of a delay.

If that is the rule, then there is no doubt it was missed. There is no question to wether he was out of the box or not, because that was very obvious...the question is, is that a rule.

Well four umpires are not going to see it because there were runners in motion, they all are not going to watching exactly what the catcher is doing. I was sitting right behind home plate, and there was no doubt the catcher was coming out of his stance before the pitch was made..now rather that is legal or not I am not sure. Someone I was watching the game with said he thought that since the batter did not swing its not interference..Like I said I don't know the exact rule, but if Chas would have swung, the catcher would have had a broken arm...thats for sure.

Any word if the games are still on?

Beechwood will more than likely throw Tommy Bankemper. He is a very big lefty, throws in the mid to upper 80's. He has been pitching great lately...if he is throwing strikes...he will be tough to hit. Now my prediction, I will no doubt go with BW here. They will be tough to beat with Big Mo on their side. Will be a great game..:thumb:

I thought the same thing, and I was questioning the stats from the KHSAA web site stating that they had 0 HR...kinda hard to believe from the #1 team in the state. But that shows two things....1st thing is how good of a hitting team they are to have a 36-5 record, and also shows how great of a game Curley threw to hold them to 5 hits, and 0 runs.

It should be Soph Tommy Bankemper going for BW tonight. If he keeps pitching like he has been, it will be an awsome game. He big and throws mid to upper 80's.
