Great pitching by Beechwood's Curley and a slew of early errors doom the Panthers.

Thanks to our fellow Class A Schools, and local schools for your support!

Incredible to score 7 runs with only 2 hits. Almost seems impossible in a state semifinal game. Destiny????? with what the Curleys have gone through and Buddy's H.A. Great win for the Beechies. You might as well figure out a way to win again tomorrow. Congratulations to PRP on a fantastic season! Chris Curley and Eric Sawyer are two big-time, big-game players!

A total first-inning meltdown by PRP ... I can't remember seeing a team bat around on just one hit. Crawford, the starting pitcher, had control problems and the defense gave him no support.

Curley was hanging on in the final two innings, giving up some line drives right at people. Otherwise, a great pitching performance ... throwing strikes with a big lead and letting his defense work. I hope the Tigers have some good mound work left for Lexington Catholic.

I stand corrected, and I apoligize to all, especially Gametime, who was right yet again:D

I just didnt see a way this talented PRP team could lose, guess I was wrong.

I'm sure that Bob will start Bankemper and then have Elliott in the relief role based on the pitchers he has used in the post season. I would guess that LexCath will have their ace or #2 ready since they were able to share 3 pitchers in their first win. So, a pitching edge would have to go to LexCath in the final. The Beechies will have to hit the ball well later today in order to bring home the big trophy.

Nice job for the Tigers to capitalize in the errors in the 1st, and Curley threw an absolute gem tonight!!!!! 1 MORE TIGERS!!!!!!:dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa

Just got back from Lex., What a game! :dancingpa :dancingpa

BTW, I was told that a Beechwood tailgate party starts in the parking lot of the stadium at 5:30 PM.

Another class A fan here, wishing Beechwood all the luck in the world. THey probably wont need it tough. Bring it home Beechwood!!!!!:thumb: :thumb:
