  1. Thats funny cause Zach seems to be playing football himself during some of these bb games. I hope that NCC cleans Highlands and big Willies clock. GO NCC!!!:flame:
  2. Yes , lets nor forget Nathan Seiter, he was the man and for my money one , if not the best in the 10th. Justin wasnt all that shabby either...LOL!! I DO know who would win the best brother tandem in the 10th. No brainer:D
  3. Beleive it or not Oak Hills had the size advantage on Brossart. It was a way TOO physical game that the refs almost let get out of hand. No need for that and the refs should of squashed it in the first quarter. Both teams were really packing it in .In all it was one of the better defensive games Ive seen in awhile. Typical trademark Brossart defense against a Oak hills team that played the same, thus the low score.:thumb:
  4. Well I know nothing either about the boy, but find it odd that a kid would transfer that many times. It kinda human nature and raises the old red flag of whats up. Kind of ODD isnt it?
  5. Well!! Please finish the rest of the story. What happened to Mr Lyons and where is he now?? Im very interested , as I have never hreard of him....Thanks for any info!!
  6. JAnother grude match for years and years , (before Pendleton), Has been Brossart and NCC, think about it, those games get nasty, players and fans. Ncc had thier way with brossart for years until around the late 90,s , since then, Brossart has held thier own and more often than not kicked some Horse butt or Should I say Horse head???
  7. Well , the last 4 or 5 years IMO it has been Brossart and Pendleton, but that one has fizzled out. Some pretty intense games played in Packed gyms. People lined up outside trying to get in. Those were some good games with Brossart comeing out on the short side. I think Brossart might try to even it up this year and years to come for all the losses to Pendleton. :flame:
  8. I know this is a stupid post, but have to complement you on your avatar, how cool is that?? I sat , watching the lights on your tree go off and on, but of course I need Dummy books for computors. Im lucky to be able to send an e-mail, LOL!! Good Job, you have the christmas spirit!!!:thumb:
  9. You and your opinion is right on..SK did nothing wrong. You run into games like this from time to time, but not very often. Sure you feel sorry for the mismatched opponet, but how far can you play down, until you dribble the ball to waste clock. Wasnt there, but heard and SK always shows class. Sk has been in those very same shoes and I remember those days, Sk would NEVER treat another team like they have been treated in the past. And when I say past, I mean SK Class of 1972!!!:thumb:
  10. Thats because Brossart plays the game right and with compassion, NOW if your baseball team could follow our example!!!! No hill top car horns and blinking car lights and way ....way too many hit batters, Harrison County could move up to Brossarts level, as far as playing the game right.
  11. I would say your right, no matter of 9th or 10th region demo,s. Now when you pass down into Grant and Pendleton countys ??? I have always viewed Northern kentucky as Campbell, Kenton and Boone. Whats anyone elses opinion on Grant and Pendelton? Why is SK in the8th and Brossart and CC in the 10th??? And WHY Scott in the 10th?? I know I am opening up a can of worms, but just dont get it. Maybe someone more informed can relate this to me. Always thought we had a pretty good thing going on up here , without sending our teams down south...:madman:
  12. I have to agree about what you said about Kenny Walker. The kid has jumped leaps and bounds of what he was at St Marys, playing with this present bunch of Mustangs. Kenny has matured into a pretty fine basketball player and more importantly , a great young man. Kenny was always a good kid, just didnt like being drilled in practice. But that is behind him by years now and was impressed by his game agaisnt the Mustangs sat night. Talk about a tall lineup if Kenny had stay with brossart, can you imagine: Cooper6,5..Mutsch 6,5, Kenny 6,9 and Niemeyer 6,5???? Anyway i wish Kenny and his family the best, Kenny has two great parents and its no wonder he turned out as good as he has. He probably has some colleges looking also, anyone with info on that? I was really surprised by his outside shot, it looked pretty good. I always new he would do allright inside if he ever picked up some weight. Good luck to Kenny Walker the rest of the season. :thumb:
  13. That is because you are a headfast cov cath supporter!!! Wouldnt expect you to say anything else. Come 2007 when your favorite Colonels play Brossart at your own house, you might change your tune. Cant wait!!! Will have a couple baseball colonels also in the mix , should be a whale of a game. :fight:
  14. Yep ,could tell by the way they played basketball. One boy was ejected in the 4th quarter for putting on a football move. But most of all , both teams showed class, Kenny (sky) Walker especially. Kenny played ball withmost these guys at ST Marys and Kenny throughout the game was picking up a guy off the floor and giveing them a pat on the back,. Kenny has grown into a fine young man and I think was the leading scorer for the Camels. Good job, Kenny :thumb:
  15. And without Nathan Mutsch who is nurseing a sore knee. Good win by these senoir Mustangs.
  16. Yep, the wildcats miss more than just Mains bringing to ball up by hisself. They miss a big supporting cast that hurri-Kane can not solve by himself. I wish him the best though, class kid and player, but needs supporting help for Pendleton to make any kind of run this year. Good Luck this season Wildcats!!!:thumb:
  17. Did Ricky Parrot get any playing time for SK? If Hester had a night off as some has suggested, just wondering what kind of PT did Parrot get. Have always thought that Parrot kid was a fine athelete...:thumb:
  18. Cory is indeed a fine player, any reports on how many he scored , this time!!!
  19. Just wondering how Kenny Walker did in this game?? He is due for a breakout year and being a senior, this must be it....Good kid also!! Any info on this game??
  20. To tell you the truth BG, I could care less about his putting at this time , I would settle for alot more big games from"BRYAN" in the future to help his Brossart teamates out on thier Quest !!! ...Yep , Im a Brossart fan and with Bryan playing the way he is and we get that one slacker back, this brossart team is going to be tough this year... Agree??? I really feel that its Brossarts year , its a senoir year. Should be interesting in the 10th and All 'A" games this year and of course some of the best games come from the 9th region, looking forward to those games also.... :thumb:
  21. Brian Neimeyer more than filled in for the ailing Nathan Mutsch. Brian has come into his own and will be a great asset comeing off the bench this year, spelling Troy Cooper and Nathan Mutsch, if in fact he doesnt just flat out take one of their jobs. I am so happy for Neimeyer and he had a whale of a game. He is comeing into form , just when Brossart needs him, the senoir run on the "ALL A" and 10th region run to RUPP!! This is even more possible with Brian playing the way he has in practice and now in the first game. Golfer, yep he is a star, now he is a two sport star. :dancingpa
