Beechwood has faced many teams this year featureing pitchers that throw just as hard if not harder . Not takeing away from the young mans performance at all, but Beechwood can play small ball with the best of them. Take a kid throwing 91 -92 , lay down 3 bunts in a row, a error or two with a stolen base and these guys have you 3-0. I know, thats what they did to us on their way to what looks like a state championship. From one Class A fan to Class A Beechwood, bring it home boys to NKY>:dancingpa

Another class A fan here, wishing Beechwood all the luck in the world. THey probably wont need it tough. Bring it home Beechwood!!!!!:thumb: :thumb:

Well then dont call it NKY, because it is not a true representation of the schools in NKy. You seem quick to get rid of Simon Kenton,Schott, cambell County and others.Lets just call it what is : 9th region all star game. And I agree with you, but some of these juniors and senoirs that you want to acknowledge, live next door to you. And I mean ,next door,as in your neighbors. These regions IMO, are screwed up.

Just curious of what you would think about the use of wieghts? Say you had a kid already throwing in the upper 80,s/low 90,s. Say a 6,6 kid well built already, possibly not done growing. Has also his delivery down pretty good. I have heard pro and con on this subject. Some say that you dont want to muscle bound a pitcher and some say with the added strength, it might add 3 to 4 mph. You seem to know your stuff, am interested in your opinion.

Kyle is definately a stud and if you want filled in on Nate, well he struck out the side in the first two innings, I think he only pitched 4 and the game was run ruled in the fifth. This Colonels team is stacked from top to bottom....To tell the truth, that team is good enough already , without the Beechwood players. They could probably use those two guys from Brossart though, Ubeul and Kramer, maybe next year:thumb: :thumb:

This whole game is a joke, since it doesnt represent NKY , whatsoever, it just another 9th region deal. But Newport is in the 9th, so you probably have a shot of some of your players makeing the team. But then again, if your not from ..Cov cath, Ncc,Beechwood....good luck!!

How about harrison county next year? Just curious!! How many senoirs did you lose? What kind of team will you have going this following spring?

That doesnt surprise me at all, Kyle is a stud. Congrats , Kyle and team. These two teams meet soon, will have to walk that kramer kid. But I know a kid that wont pitch against Klye Kramer, has to much respect for Kyle and all the years. 4 Balls.....take first base. Probably wise, Kyle, would probably take him yard.!!

Yes he did and the team also won both games sunday. And yes , this team is stacked from top to bottom. Bleser did great, This team is good, and seems like all the boys pitch, a mark of a good team.

It should be called the 9th region all star game, unstead of NKY!! Alot of good players not there.

Yep wrong! Ky Colonels played a double header today, waiting for the Beechwood players to finish up. THey did fine without them tough, winning the double header. :thumb:

Surprise, you of all poeple going with Beechwood!!

Congrats to Bourbon, they are one of the best hitting teams that I have seen this year. Good luck to you against Harrison county..:thumb: Will keep track of the winner tomarrow and will be rooting for whoever wins against the 9th . Keep us all posted!! Go 10th region!!!!

Not at all, I consider you a friend of the board!! Dont worry about it, serousously!!

Oh and as a side note about parking cars up on the hill!!!!! You guys get there hours before the game , with coolers and food, tailgate , drink your beverages and from I have seen , enjoyed the game .... And you go ahead and tell me thats not the truth??? Hey its your park, enjoy it. At least it saves all the stands for out of town visitors!! From now on, if your so fair minded, save half that hill for us?? Will that work next year???LOL!!

DO WE??? Judgeing from your posts??? Do you have anything good to say about anyother team, other than your own?? These kids ALL know each other, they might not be friends after the game, but come back being friends. These guys have long forgot any defeat that the parents carry on about. I dont know you, but lets say, I know most of the boys personannally. They ALL read this board. Id rather be a friend, than antaginize the whole region over ONE team. Im sure you a good person in love with your team, but all these kids deserve props....Win or lose. You know, over this weekend, its hot as heck out there , and there they are to make you proud, win or lose. Hope you can see my reasoning...... I wish the best for Harrison:thumb: Also for the Mustangs:thumb: But we have some pretty tough games ahead of us today. Hope we both survive till tomarrow!! Clark as well as Bourbon, is no walk off.:argue:

This IS NO NKY river, it is about respect for all teams in the tourney and not just one. I wish the best for everyteam in the region, they are all good kids that have played their hearts out ALL summer long to reach this point. Flameing one team or another at this junction, is uncalled for. I am sure that the proud Scott Eagles would of loved to play 2 out of 3. Maybe a different outcome than comeing on this board hearing ....HA HA, welcome to the 10th Region. IMO!! Pitiful!!:fight: And I do wish Harrison all the best. :thumb:

Yep, you will learn pitching and humilty shortly!! Up on the hump at Cambpell, your not allowed to honk your horns ands flash lights while opposeing teams are batting. I wish your team the best, but??? Fans like you, kinda ruin all the goodwill that should be showed during a tounry like this. You need to settle down some:thumb:

Yep, Im knda leaning towards Brossart!!!!

wOw,, GREAT WIN FOR NCC!!!

My take is on the team with the best pitching. Frimming ,Mutsch .Ubel and Chris Simon will be a tough task. So, I say Brossart!! Brossart will win it all.:thumb:

Really??? quess we will find out.

:thumb: :thumb:

Finally a great win for the Mustangs...:thumb: :thumb: The monkey IS gone!!!!
