Not the first time Eastern has made a comeback like that (unfortunately the last time it was against Manual). But it looks like the Eagles are dangerous this year! What's PRP's record so far? Not quite the team I know some were expecting preseason.

Round robins are fun to toy with, but barely relevent. Personally, I don't really CARE who wins, so long as the score is close (which is probably will be). But I stand by my previous prediction.

I was thinking of commenting about that myself... I've heard from numerous sources that Male's conditioning pales to most other schools. Male just has pure athletes usually.

Bush, an easy choice for me having played against him 5 times in high school. Sick, sick player at any position he played.

This should be a heck of a game right here. Last time the two teams faced each other I was a senior, and that was the biggest letdown of the season as we lost something like 10-0. The time before that however was one of the most fun games I had ever played in, as we practically swam for the win in a massive deluge that left absolutely no fans in the stands. Ballard is coming off a nailbiting win to PRP, and before that a very ALMOST upset to St. X. Manual is coming off of a win against Christian County and a very hard fought win against Central before that. Nothing but ranked teams mentioned above. So who wins? I'm going to go with Manual, believing that their passing game will really shine this game.

I say Male's speed and Redman's experience pull Male out of a potential loss. Male - 32 Central - 14

I heard a little commentary from a couple of people at the game. It sounds like the Manual defense and special teams need to work on tackling drills more often, as the Christian County TDs were both especially ugly to watch, according to my sources. Offensively, Manual sounds like they utilized many players to gain yards and score, showing some good depth. GO RAMS!!!

Woooow. This is juicey.

It's been thrown around for a while on here. I don't see it as disrespecting the stadium when commenting about the lights... it was after someone dissed all the work that the players themselves had put in on some renovations that ticked me off. Compared to 10 years ago, today's Manual Stadium is a gem. I honestly never knew or felt there was a problem with the lights until I got on BGP. Since then I tried paying more attention at the games, and I would love for them to upgrade (should've been done in the past year but someone above mentioned the money went towards a gym roof??? interesting).

Of course I'm hoping for a Manual win, but this is going to be a big difference between a scrimmage and passing league. If Manual can play together well, then I can't wait to see what they'll be able to do (beat Male??? beat St. X?????????????).

When Manual played Eastern in 03, they seemed to have the game won at the half. They had just come off one of the arguably biggest (as in 'big deal', not score margin) wins EVER, against Trinity (a strange game in itself to some T fans I'd bet), and they were looking at what was likely to be a 40-0 game, when all the heart just dropped from Manual and went straight to Eastern who went and pulled off one of the biggest comebacks I had ever seen.

I hate the idea of dividing the public and private schools. I want all teams to be able to play each other. I'd hate to see the argument "this team may have won their championship but that was only for public schools, the private schools would beat them easy, blah, blah". Too many round robins to worry about anyway. Plus, personally, as a Louisville native, the good rivalries for the public schools are always going to be against X or T. If we seperate them, we seperate tradition and a sense of community. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel.

PRP above Manual AND Male??? Crazy talk.
