KY All-Star tryouts?
Will do. I should know a little more in about a week. I'll keep you updated.

KY All-Star tryouts?
I agree. Greg can play a 2 or 3 at the next level, but would have to work on his ball handling skills.

All State Teams Selected
Have to agree with you there. I think KY had a lot of talent which is why it made it a little harder to select. Not only Austin but a few other players were very underrated this year. Austin is just one of the bigger examples of underrated players considering everything he accomplished this past year. But once again congrats to all of the young men who were selected to the 1st and 2nd team.

Steffphon Pettigrew
I'm sure he could play at Xavier. If X lands him, we could see Austin Hill take the same route. That'd be a nice inside outside combo. One thing's for sure, anyone who gets this young man will be getting a nice player. Good luck to Mr Pettigrew with whatever decision he makes.

Warren Central's Jeremy Anderson will sign with DI Liberty University.
Congrats to a fine young athlete but also person. I can still remember seeing him play his soph year against Holmes in the sweet 16. Good luck to Jeremy at Liberty!

KY All-Star tryouts?
Xavier could be a possiblity but not very likely. Ausitn wants an uptempo offense. Winthrop or A&M would be better fits for him. But if he wants to play right away, Akron or Western. As for Rice I'm not too sure about his future plans. The junior year off really hurt him. I know Mississippi St was recruiting him pretty hard his sophomore year. I'd suspect Rice will go the JC route then transfer to a D1 school.

Charles Hurt's Famous 1978 Non-Goaltend
Both George and Doug were great basketball players. It's a shame both of their careers ended the same way. But as TOG said, it taught them life lessons and made them very successful. Education does last a lifetime.

All State Teams Selected
You and me both brother. But Rice and Henderson weren't bad choices.

All State Teams Selected
Austin wasn't one of the players who was suspended. He has been the glue that has held them together all year. I also don't see how Corey Pelle didn't make the list either. He was top 5 in the state in scoring.

Beechwood 3 Holy Cross 0
Walton beat Beechwood's JV 9-3.....

KY All-Star tryouts?
He has narrowed his decisions down to Texas A&M, Winthrop, and Xavier. He plans on taking visits to all of those schools during the spring but Akron has recently come in the picture and Western has been recruiting him hard as well.

All State Teams Selected
How did Austin Hill not make this list? I'm not trying to be biased but I see a few names on there that Austin could replace. But congrats to the young men who were selected.

Any D1 potential in NKY 2007??
I was just saying going D1 in general. I know Duran officially signed with Kentucky as did Kiernan with Louisville but I don't know about Murray and Gray...maybe you'd know a little more about those two?

Charles Hurt's Famous 1978 Non-Goaltend
That team was absolutely loaded and MR Basketball Doug Schloemer lead them. Still hard to believe that call wasn't made. If it's clear as day that he did indeed goaltend, why couldn't Holmes protest the game with the evidence in the papers?

Boone County 6 Newport Central Catholic 5
Both Reed and Krohman get overlooked IMO. Krohman has had a good season so far as well.

Beechwood 3 Holy Cross 0
They will MOSY LIKELY play Walton. That's who is favored in the 8th.

Huge win for the Eagles. I was shocked by the score of this game. Good to hear Bitter had a good game.

Besides Jefferson, Murray, and Gray of last year's class that are going D1, when is the last time NKY had say more than 10 kids go D1?
