  1. Hibbert returning definetly makes the Hoyas a top 5 team. Green returning would have made them a national title favorite. Either way, G'town will be tough next year.
  2. Very good decision by him to come back. Him staying a Jayhawk definetly makes Kansas a top 5-10 team again this year.
  3. Exactly what I was thinking. Most of the people on here saying the harsh things are people who have no clue about him or his family background. I'm not trying to back the young man up in any way, he made a bad decision, but IMO it reflects the people who he was hanging out with outside of school more than who he is as a person. He just needs to grow up a little and realize that being 18 now, he has to be a little bit smarter about what he does. His mother isn't the person who has the final verdict on any disciplinary actions that need to be taken anymore.
  4. Spurs are the most complete team. They will win the NBA title in 6 games no matter who they play.
  5. Griffey is the hottest Red right now. No need to trade him. His bat is more important than some think. Narron made a great decision by moving Griffey to right. If the Reds are looking to free up some money for players, Milton is who they need to get rid of. The Reds problems aren't in their offense, it's their pitching. But BACK TO THE THREAD TITLE...yes Griffey is playing extremely well right now.
  6. Wow I havent been on here in a few days so i just got wind of this and am shocked. This was a very bad decision by Duran. I know neither his mother or father brought him up to do something like this and I feel more sorry for them than him. A waste of talent that I never would have expected. Also, the age listed is incorrect. He is 18, not 19.
  7. Congrats to NCC on the win. On a side note, this was Holmes first ever 20 win season so congrats to both the young ladies of the program and Coach Hughes. He really has the program heading in the right direction making the regional tourney 6 out of the last 8 years.
  8. Junior or not, Allen is without a doubt the best player in KY. She has even improved at the plate as well which makes her more than just a dominant pitcher.
  9. Holmes has both Christina Weaver and Brittany Webb back next year which were their two leading scorers. Both are very good players. Lacy Brasseaux of Boone is another very good player who will be back next year as well.
  10. Beechwood over Newport Ryle over Ludlow Highlands over Dixie CCH over Boone Semi's Ryle over Beechwood CCH over Highlands Finals Ryle over CCH IF Highlands and CCH meet in the semi's wouldn't that be their first match up of the season? I believe the one scheduled got cancelled.
  11. Congrats to Maile and the CCH program. This could be one of 3 consecutive MVP awards for this young man.
  12. With or without CCH top pitcher on the mound, this was a statement game by Ryle IMO and a huge confidence booster. Good luck to CCH against HC. I'll be pulling for your boy's OG.
  13. Highlands has some solid wins and is a very solid team. I wouldn't want to face them in the first round of the region.
  14. Don't know the specifics therefore I'm not going to comment on it.
  15. Sure are a lot of posts here considering nobody wanted him and thought he was cocky for waiting so long and didn't like his character. Typical UK fans.
  16. SK took down Ryle a couple days ago though just proving that anyone can be beaten on any givin day but Ryle is obviously the clear cut favorite.
  17. Could be the first year in a while CCH doesn't make the regional tournament.
  18. Kentucky Colonels are generally one of the top teams in the state. Walt gets a lot of NKY's top talent.
  19. I still think Allen is one of the most underrated players in nky. Good win for the Raiders though.
  20. Agree. All teams will focus on Henderson. The key to Holmes team is whether or not Nelson and Clark can develop and play to their potential down low.
  21. C- Maile (CCH) 1st- Allen (Highlands) 2nd- Wagner (Ryle) 3rd- Popham (CCH) SS- Wagner (Ryle) LF- Farris (Boone) CF Elliot (B-wood) RF- Sheehy (Ryle) Pitchers Bleser (CCH) Elliot (Beechwood) Ryan (HC) Krohman (Boone) Collins (Ryle) DH Scott Baker (HC) Vince Murray (Ryle)
  22. Holmes returns a lot of talent next year. Not on the same level as DJ, Rice, and Hill, but Nelson, Clark, and Avery will be nice compliments to his game.
  23. No surprise here. After his performance in the state tournament, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pre season all state as well.
  24. Congrats to both young men but especially Hester. I've known him since he was playing ball at Glenn O. Swing in elementary school and it was always fun seeing him play. Might have to take a trip down to Barbourville next year.
