I do see Beechwood as a clear cut #1 but as we saw last year injuries can even things up in a hurry. The Beechies certainly need QB Elliot and RB Bankenper to be healthy.

 

I like LCA, Frankfort, and Mayfield too if Beechwood slips at all.

I honestly think Pikeville is a top 4 team year in and year out under this new alignment. Coach Jackson is a young coach, who IMO will be a GREAT coach (already a good coach) with age. The man has that young man's passion that only gets better with "season."

 

With time, Coach J will get better and so will his teams. Pikeville has as nice a base to draw from as any other team in this class. IMO, there is no excuse for climbing back to the top.

I see Beechwood as a favorite but not by as much as many think...Frankfort has alot coming back as does Mayfield and imo, these 2 can compete on pretty equal terms with the Beechies..As far as injuries goes, doesn't that apply to any team, especially 1a teams....
