It's a stretch when you know Meyer hired him at OSU and kept him on despite knowing there was a history at FL and later OSU.

Given it's a normal job progression and that Meyer hired him later, I think that assumption is a stretch.

Meyer has to be concerned about Zach Smith's threat to take everyone at OSU down with him if this ever came out.

She didn't say running them, she said regulating them. It's the same government that has regulated many industries and made them much safer for the targeted beneficiaries than would otherwise have been possible.

For sure lots of people failed her.

This thread is eerily reminiscent of the early Joe Paterno threads. It's also kind of strange that as Paterno was exiting Penn St, Urban was arriving at Oh St.

I don't see where he ever fired Smith from FL. He did hire him at OSU though.

I'm saying Meyer's wife said Smith scared her and asked if Courtney Smith had a restraining order. Meyer's wife knew how bad it was, therefore Urban knew how bad it was.

Yes, she also asked about a restraining order and said Smith scared her.

Oh I don't question it at all. Unfortunately that is a fairly common reaction when the parents are worried about what's going to happen financially to the wife and kids. I agree it's pretty pathetic. I'm with you, that would not be my reaction.

Correct. Like I said above, since he knew about the 2009 incident I can only guess his relationship to Bruce figured into his 2015 response.

Correct. I would suspect that is the reason Meyer didn't take a more aggressive position towards Smith.
