In the short tenure of the RPI has there ever been a team finish No. 1 in the RPI rankings and had to play a road game in the playoffs? If Boyle wins out and beats FD, I could see them jumping to No. 1 and have to play on the road in the 2nd round.

So are we thinking that Frederick Douglass is considerably better than Ballard? Even though Ballard has defeated Trinity and Male? FD beat up on Scott County pretty good. I would think Ballard by at least a few scores.

I know Madison Central has a good team, but they have not been as impressive as I would have thought. After a brutal early season schedule, the Defenders seem to have hit their stride and are playing some very good football. Don’t know if it is considered an upset but I will take Bryan Station for the district championship.
