The win and the Glasgow loss gives Casey County their first ever district championship in the schools 50th anniversary season. Casey was picked to go 0-10, and finish last in the district and region.

That's what is wild about this run for Casey.  No one expected anything like this.  Congrats to their team and staff!

This may be the feel good story of the year in high school football.

Not many people felt like this team would have won the games they have won.  Most people around the program was just hoping to make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2019.  The Rebels scored on every possession except 1, and they turned it over on downs inside Hart's 30 on the possession they didn't score.  The defense done enough to secure the win.  The defense had 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions and forced 1 turnover on downs.  QB Ethan Willoughby was 17/20 for 212 yards and 4 tds, had 29 carries for 131 yards and 1 td, he had 1 of the interceptions, and recovered Hart's onsides attempt to seal the deal.  He has rushed for over 900 yards so far on the season and passed for over 1,600.  I'm so proud of these guys!!!

Let me make a correction, Casey also threw an interception, so they didn't score on 2 of their possessions.

The QB from Casey should be an all state guy this year. He has put up insane numbers this year.

One of the best basketball players in the 12th region as well.  Massive at the QB position.

Ethan Willoughby has also won 12th region doubles in tennis for the last two seasons.  He excels at anything he does, especially in the classroom!
