Camels used three pitchers in the game, Hurd was used twice and he only gave up three of the runs. Woodruff and Harrison were the other pitchers for the Camels, with Harrison getting the loss.

Walks were the name of the game as Camel pitchers walk 13 and hit one, losing three run leads twice during the late stages of the game. Good luck to the Eagles as there was no quit in them when they got down late. Congrats to the Camels as well as their 19 wins is the most in one season during Coach Heringer's tenure.

If you look at Bourbon's schedule you see alot of wins against teams with losing records, not exactly sure what happened to the team that many picked to win the region in preseason. They didn't seem to play well all year long against the better teams in the region. Congrats to Coach Combs on making it to the region in his first year at Montgomery.

This game was wild. The pitchers battle never materialized as both teams came out smokin with the bats. Cov. Cath used three pitchers and Holy Cross two.

Bodner hit his out in leftcenter. Jenkins down left field line and Hurd was dead centerfield over the 350' marker.

He came in in relief and took the loss. Stewart was the starting pitcher.

The Camels win their 19th with a 6-5 extra inning win over Holy Cross. Alex Martin drives in the winner with a single in the bottom of the ninth. Holy Cross scored the in the top of the sixth to take a 4-3 lead. Travis Hurd hit a two run homer is straightaway center field to give the Camels a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth. Holy Cross ties the score in the top of the seventh and Martin's hit decides it in ninth. Luke Bray pitches 7 1/3 for the Camels and Chris Harrison gets out of a bases loaded no outs jam in the eighth for the Camels with a strikeout, a fly out to center and a pop up to first. Harrison picks up his second win in relief this week and Danny Jenkins had a solo shot for the Camels in the fifth. Bodner homered for the Indians in the sixth. The real season starts next week with the Camels taking on Scott at NKU Tuesday at 3:30.

Way tooo many errors right now for the Camels. Their defense has to improve if they are going to make a post season run.

Camels were outplayed by the Breds. Good game til the fourth and fifth. Harris was outstanding, fell behind a few hitters but stopped the Camels on three hits. Two by Austin Studer and one by Andy Franzen. With Harris on the mound the Breds are much better than their record. Camels have Conner Friday on Senior night and Holy Cross on Saturday, then the real season begins next week.

You would have to go far and wide to find better food than they have at Campbell County. Burgers, Dogs, Bratts, Metts, Chicken Breast Sandwiches and its all good. Plus 6 kinds of softdrinks, 4 flavors of Gatoraide and various kinds of candy, chips, nachos and walking tacos. Its all good.

Camels rally from a 4-1 deficit to win 7-4. Junior Mark Hinkel gets his third win of the season and Travis Hurd his second save. Camels now 16-10 on the season with Holmes up next on Monday night at 7 in Alexandria.

Camels played an awful game. 8 walks, one hit batter and 6 errors. Western Hills got some key hits when they needed them and certainly deserved the win.

I would think that would depend on tryouts next year. Brett White was a sophomore when he first started for the Camels a few years ago. Travis Hurd also started for the Camels when he was a sophomore.

Its a blind draw and no one is getting screwed. It is a JV tournament not a varsity one. Relax and enjoy the games.

Camels out hit the Rebels 13-8 but the three two run dingers were too much for the Camels to overcome. Anyone know how far the centerfield fence is in Boone Co. A couple of the homers would have been routine fly outs on a regular size field. The homers that Farris and Woodruff hit would have been out of any park. Top of the Rebel lineup certainly hit the ball today.

Jordan Woodruff is 7-1, I have to think he is the Camels #1 at this point. He did not pitch against Scott.

Camels win their third straight and fourteenth of the season as Luke Bray strikes out nine and pitches a three hitter. Bray also hit a double off the 365 marker in straight away center field. Andy Franzen had four hits, Travis Hurd three and Jordan Franzen was two for four with two doubles. The Camels play their third straight road game tomorrow at Boone County.:ylsuper:

Good game by the young Tigers. Woodruff gets his seventh win for the Camels and Hurd gets the save, striking out the last five outs of the game. Camels now 13-7 and travel to Grant County Tuesday.
