Well it looks like Apollo's coach should have had input,,,so I guess I am wrong.

Believe it or not Lex CAth coach was named coach of the year??????????Who in the world selects these teams anyways????If anyone on here seen a better catcher than that of Apollo's catcher let me know. The first team is a handful of very good kids that obviously belong there and then there is some by name recognition only...I saw at least 6 kids that deserve to be on 1st team let alone be left off and put on honorable mention.

Wow does that mean the Webb kid from Heath was consistantly around 95mph. Webb was the best pitcher I seen this year and the 1st Region representive didnt even know his name. "What a shame"!

I was referring to the Apollo game,,, if your game was competitive you might had seen a different side of Dunbar. By the way congratulations on a great playoff run.

I got to view PRP and Dunbar on the same night. Let me tell you,,,,you do not get any worst than the Dunbar players and some of there fans. I have never seen an umpiring crew take so much guff from players in a dug out in all the time I have watched baseball. The 1st base coach should have been thrown out and then he comes back to the dug out giving all 30 players high fives for his tyrant behavior in a state game against the ump. Then the rest of the game all of those JV players heckled along with the student section against the ump and the oppossing players. After the winning run is scored does the Dunbar players celebrate with there own fans noooooooooooooo.,, they ran straight in front of the apollo fans and over to the apollo dug out side beginning there celebration with a few taunts. If there was a baseball god Dunbar would have not won this game.

On this night Fyffe was the fourth best starting pitcher. He didnt get much defensive support, but even with that it looked like he was always over throwing trying to get more speed and that took away from his accurracy. Still with that said he is definately one of the top 20 pitchers in the state.

The Webb kid looked like he is an outstanding pitcher, especially in that first inning. I would rate him above the Dunbar pitchers. The kid pitching for Apollo is a true pitcher.....Not outstanding speed but flat out knows how to pitch.

It does sound suspicious. Yes there was a little bit of rain 4 hours before game time. This was rain that was very much needed, not to mention the fact Creek has a field tarp. I am sure they have been watering there field some, but still it was not that much rain, and it didnt last long.

Somerset made it out of a very tough region. Ryle just might have been under rated but I definately would not say Somerset was over rated, they do have a quality baseball program.

This isnt my opinion, it just ended up that way with record and strength of schedule with the point system I had. It obviously gives other non traditional power teams a chance to get ranked and isnt reliant on very few coaches who will sometimes choose there own team very high to get some points. I would make some changes if it was based on my opinion, but several more teams I had rated made it to the final 16 than that of the coaches poll. Apollo is playing really well right now, and the next step in playoffs will be very interesting with the best 2 of 3 format. Too bad the state couldnt use a format something like the mens or womens baseball playoffs in NCAA for the final 8.

What will he be doing if he isnt coaching High School Baseball?

Dunbar took about 7 of there starters out of the game when the score was about 9-0 after 2. There JV got more time than there starters. Dunbar started Ballinger and he came out after 2 innings as well.

YOU consistantly put down FC for no apparent reason. I am not saying FC is any better than these two outstanding schools but at least acknowledge the fact FC has played well against the 7th toughest schedule in the state. Things will have to go extremely well for FC's chances, the same as for both of the other schools you mention.
