DC, any reason why ryle is so high?

This is among the 16 remaining teams so Ryle is 6th out of the reamining 16 regional winners. If you are contesting why Ryle is 21st, well they did win their region, but that's all I can add.

I think he was meaning why are they ranked above Owensboro Apollo when the Coaches Poll had Apollo #7 and Ryle #52.....I could be wrong on the assumption though.

Well at one point in the season O-Cath was ranked 4th or 5th and they didn't even make it out of their district....CovCath a team that Ryle beat three times beat O-Cath. Also Beechwood a team that Ryle also beat two times beat Apollo. In the last couple of years the Ninth Region has done itself proud with Beechwood being the runnerup last year and CovCath wining the whole show in 02.

This isnt my opinion, it just ended up that way with record and strength of schedule with the point system I had. It obviously gives other non traditional power teams a chance to get ranked and isnt reliant on very few coaches who will sometimes choose there own team very high to get some points. I would make some changes if it was based on my opinion, but several more teams I had rated made it to the final 16 than that of the coaches poll. Apollo is playing really well right now, and the next step in playoffs will be very interesting with the best 2 of 3 format. Too bad the state couldnt use a format something like the mens or womens baseball playoffs in NCAA for the final 8.

The are some nice sectional games. The toughest teams mentally will make it to state.
