Dunbar is rewarded for winning the district as they got a great draw. Catholic got a bad draw.

It could have been worse with Clay or Central as their first round opponent.

Catholic could have gotten a worse draw, but they have been down this road before. Dunbar's draw is great, they could get through to the final without pitching their ace, and hope that Catholic and Henry Clay meet in the semis and beat each other up.

Compared to the 42nd and 43rd district tournaments, isn't this one a little bit of a comedown?

YOU consistantly put down FC for no apparent reason. I am not saying FC is any better than these two outstanding schools but at least acknowledge the fact FC has played well against the 7th toughest schedule in the state. Things will have to go extremely well for FC's chances, the same as for both of the other schools you mention.

Franklin County wins thier district and gets the #1 team the first game as a reward. No that's a bad draw!!!

Franklin County got the worst draw. Catholic will be OK if they can get to the finals without pitching Moronde. This should be one awesome tournament!

Word was that Lex Cath pitched Jordan Root today in the game against Franklin Co. No clue what the final is or if its even over but the Knights were up 6-1 after about 4 innings.

Root is normally the shortstop (and a very good one at that, he signed early with EKU), they use him on the mound when they want to to eat up innings to save their #1 and #2 pitchers.
