DeSales won big. They weren't challenged at all during the camp. They shoot as well as any team I have seen. Didn't lose a game the whole week.

It is only the second coach in 8 years. (Welch for 6 and then his assistant Wooldridge for 2) Unless you count Tom Cruse who resigned before coaching a game. word is they will wrap up interviews tonight. Look for a coach to be named in the next few days. My guess is it will be a head coach from a smaller school in a neighbooring region.

Interviews are this week. The last coach resigned on his own and wasn't forced out. They should have a coach named by end of next week from what I am hearing.

Or maybe steps up. Will become the new athletic director. Congrats Coach Barr. He has been at East for 22 years. 11 as an assistant and 11 as head coach.

Word on the street is that Oldham Count assistant Coy Zerhuson will be named coach very soon.

Tight game. Anderson started hot and got off to a lead and was up 5 or so at half. Owen came out aggressively in the third and tied the game. Lead changed back and forth in the 4th. AC held the ball with a two point lead and then took and ill advised shot instead of getting fouled. After a few exchanges Anderson led by one and Owen had the ball. Owen got the ball on the right block to Carson Williams who made a post move and missed a close one. AC got the rebound and hit two free throws with 2 seconds to go. Owens' half court attempt fell short. Great basketball game.

How many schools with an enrollment of 500-700 have won their regions in the past ten years. It isnt many. If anything they should incude more schools. With the exception of eastern kentucky you rarely ever see a school of this size in rupp.

Williams is solid. Doesn't play outside himself. Plays very intelligent to just be a freshman. He also has quick ups and rarely gets his shot blocked. A lot of potential with him.
