Who will be the new coach at Montgomery County?

Featured Replies

Is there a timeline for hiring the new coach? Any thoughts to who might apply?

Here is a possible candidate for you: Jason Holland, Oldham County. He was a finalist for the job when Greisser was hired and has since gone to Oldham County and has made 2 trips to Rupp. Heffington the A.D. was in the Oldham County school district for awhile. There might be a connection there.

Great info, didn't know this...thanks. As I stated before, believe the new coach will have connections somehow to new supper and AD.

Is there any more talk of Happy Osborne?

Gold Sunrise, we love you but I what the heck is "supper"? You talking dinner or something else? I would imagine you mean "super" for superintendent.

 Yes.

I'm told that Wayne Breeding will be the next coach at MCHS. That. Will be a very good hire.

Do you mean Wayne Breeden??

Breeden would be a great hire and in line with what I hear they want, someone with some experience above the high school level to develop players.

Would be a good hire, but just don't see him talking this job.

I have been hearing Scott Chalk's name thrown around.

WOuld be suprised if it happens.

Me either.

What about Brandon Snowden, he played there had a successful college career, and lives back in the area?

Why would this guy leave Oldham for Montgomery? Chance to win it every year at Oldham, better pay (not certain, but would be shocked if not), great district. I just can't see him being lured away to go to Montgomery.

WOuld be suprised if it happens.

I wouldn't be that surprised. Chalk may look at Montgomery and think no more Scott County and no more Lexington Catholic.
