There were some pretty good games in Frankfort today. They played them at Franklin County, Frankfort, and Western Hills. The games are 8 minute quarters with the clock stopping just like the regular season and players were only allowed 5 fouls. The only difference was shorter halftimes and fewer timeouts allowed. Correct me if I am wrong, but so far they have signed: Anderson-Frankfort Dunaway-Henry Clay Miller-Carroll Co. Peyton-Morgan Co. Ganci-Barren Co. Swim- Corbin Dixon-Estill Co. That is a pretty strong in-state recruiting class.

Catlyst, Synergy, and Anderson Rockettech are all very popular bats right now.

I certainly appreciate the compliments, and I know many people are hurt over another coaching change, but please let it be known that I wish both the WHHS football team and Coach Engstrand the best of luck. I am sure everything will work out for the best for both sides. He is a good football coach and the kids and parents at WHHS are a first class bunch. I enjoyed my four years of coaching football at Bondurant and continue to enjoy coaching boys basketball and softball at Western Hills. Engstrand resigned from WHHS today and informed the players of his decision to accept the position at Henry County.

[ On the boys side in the last three years Good Shepherd has dominated. This past season Good Shepherd 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade teams went undefeated. LC's boys 8th grade middle school team started 4 kids from Frankfort, two from Good Shepherd and two from Capital Day ( a non-Catholic School). I don't think this is correct. Good Shepherd was beaten by Bondurant (Western Hills' Middle School) this year in boys for sure and I think girls as well.

I just heard Ballard was up 1 at the half.

Luke Stocker played for Madison Southern (not Madison Central) but quit about mid season to focus on football. He signed to play football with Tennessee. And yes he is good. Very physical and a good leaper.

Matt Anderson had 35 points for Frankfort and Williams had 17 for Woodford.

Wing T is all misdirection. You must get penetration from your line and have disciplined LB's. Spread has advantages in isolations so once again players must be discplined and do their assignments.

It's a little work, but something I do for catfish is I marinate some grilled chicken breast in jello all night then I use it. I grill it because I'm a little iffy about handling raw chicken, it has never failed me.

I like live bait, but for bass fishing I use the Silver Buddy

I would say Danville or Putnam is the best. I can't pick Montgomery because if you have ever ran or seen a fade pattern ran there you know that poor player winds up on the track, which gets hairy in cleats. I also think Hoptown has a great atmosphere.
