whats his reasoning for backing out?

Was told by reliable source Perry indeed was offered but declined so not in mix any longer.

Any truth to the rumor that Jerry Perry will be the DC?

i have heard Perry will either end up at Boyle or with his brother in Harlan. Dont know if thats Harlan Co or Harlan city.

Clevenger has been at Henderson for 6 yrs. 2 times lost in 1st round of playoffs,made 2nd round 2 times, made regional final 2 times. thats not all that impressive being he is at one of the biggest schools in state if not the biggest.

Didnt say the baseball coach tells them not to play football. I said Baseball coach tells players if they expect to play come spring they need to focus yr. around,travel squads etc.

Jerry Perry will be the next coach. I think alot of this suff on here is hearsay. ads just got to get a few of these kids out that they are losing to soccer and baseball. doesnt help that baseball coach tells kids they will not be able to play much if they do not focus just on baseball yr. around.

Coach Perry should get it but it sounds like there is an inner circle that wants to go outside the program.

Makes u wonder if they spend much time on def. in practice or do they work offense 90% of time.

I wouldnt compare w. Jess to Harlan Co. I think T.C. will have a tough time slowing them down. Should be an entertaining game. I will say Harlan Co. by 2 T.D.'s.

I feel the overall complainig was a result of the lack of overall talent playing in this tourney. I have been going since 1986 and i do believe this was as down as i have seen it. Hope we see things pick up in the near future.

If they are able to get to rupp i think you have to consider Mike Jones of Harlan Co. Team is 26-4 headed into dist. tourney. This would be 3rd different 13th region team he has gotten to rupp if they are able to pull it off. Will be even better next yr as they 5 juniors and a fresh. out of top 7 players.

Yes they are the only ones providing the revenue and thats why schools cannot afford to lose any money on these trips. Also hurts the gate on these road trips.

Also long road trips are hurting your gate.

Takes alot more money to provide for 50-60 kids then it does 10-15.

I believe schools cannot survive with this 6 class system due to financial reasons. Currently people are having to do much more traveling for district and playoff games and schools are strapped for cash. If something is not done I think you will see some schools having to drop the sport and this would be awful. 4 Classes is a must but Im not convinced it will change.

I think Belfry will be too much up front but Garrard does have some nice skill and will break a couple Belfry 35-14.
