Same here, I know their Middle School team when through 2 coaches this year and shut the team down after a month, things are not good at Breathitt right now.

I talked with someone and he said that he had heard from couple different people that it was gonna happen.

It looks like it's done. I expect either Kyle Moore or Justin Haddix to get the Breathitt job, more then likely Kyle Moore will get it.

The next best rumor is that John Chapman will leave Pike Central and join Holcolmb at LCC as defensive coordinator. Anyone know enough to give that rumor credence?

So it has been another two weeks and still no official announcement.

Thanks 2C. I am really interested to see who gets the Bobcats job if Holcomb leaves and will the program continue to perform at a generally high level.

Holcomb was at Letcher's field house either last week or the week before last. I'm pretty sure it was one day last week. Also, Holcomb has turned in his resignation to Breathitt County.

 

Last I had heard was that Letcher was in the process of putting together a staff for Holcomb....Look for John Chapman (Pike Central HC) to go to Letcher along with Holcomb.

 

As for Breathitt's next coach, it will either be Kyle Moore or Justin Haddix. Kyle Moore is already working for the Breathitt County School System, Justin Haddix is Perry County Central's Head Coach. I would bet just about anything that Kyle Moore gets it.

I trust who told me. Breathitt is a total mess right now with the state stepping in and the situation that happened with their superintendent and the scandal at the elementary school.

 

Derrick Forest reported via twitter about two weeks or so ago that Letcher Central was in the final stages of hiring Holcomb, via LCC's AD. What I mentioned in the reply, I've heard since then.
