Very, very good hire IMO for the Admirals. Congrats to Clay Clevenger and his family.

Is Perry from Danville or play there?

No,he is from Franklin County.

As AA said, from Franklin County.

Was an assistant there for a couple years in the late 80's, including on the '89 Title team. Took the Garrad job in '90, stayed there until he came back before the '97 season and has been the DC there ever since.

I believe that this will be a good hire for Danville.I feel bad for Coach Perry, because he is a good coach and a great guy.Personally,I just feel like the program needed a fresh start, but I will to continue supporting The Ads no matter who they decided to hire.

I am happy for Danville and Coach Clevenger. I have only seen positive reactions about Clevenger coming back to Danville. He's off to a great start already. Good luck, Coach!!!

Congrats to new admiral. Article did not sound good about jobs for assts. Whats up with that? Is he going to be the lone ranger?

I hated to hear this but wish Coach all the luck. I didn't like the hire when Henderson first made it but Clay proved me wrong. He's done an outstanding job at Henderson and hopefully we can find someone to fill the big shoes he's leaving.

They have 20 coaches already standing on the sideline. No room to hire more.

I think it's ironic Danville has yet to get out of the shadow of Tom Duffy.

I think you over estimating the value of numbers and under estimating the value of quality

I think it's ironic Danville has yet to get out of the shadow of Tom Duffy.
