Barren will surprise some people with their physicality and size up front, and the brand of football they present on offense is tough if you lack discipline on defense. With that being said, Barren most likely won't stop BG all night long. I expect this one to be a shootout, and a lot closer than it's been in years past. But I believe BG wins this one.

After watching Glasgow the past couple weeks I believe their defense is improving mightily. Whatever the fix has been after the Barren game, they need to keep it up. I don't know much about Adair other than they have a good RB and a solid QB. Interested to see if Glasgow can keep their defense playing the way it has the past 2 weeks in this game. Other than that, I think Glasgow has a shot to score 60. Their QB and weapons are the real deal.

Glasgow's defense struggled, from what I hear, against Logan Co. last week. Let's see if the Scotties respond after such a big letdown. Curious to see if Coach Herron/ Coach Arnett gets the boys rolling before Friday night on the defensive side of the ball. On the flip side, Jaylen Bradley and Landen Holley are the real deal. Those two should single-handedly dominate everybody on the Scotties' schedule.

That is very intriguing. I’ve heard that the decision committee may be split on how to feel about him. Great young coach nonetheless, not sure which direction they will go in the end. It may be trending towards hiring the older, more experienced coach in the long run. But Herron would be a great fit from what I’ve been told.

You hearing any names?

The 2 of them that I know of are in state. One is a current HC, the other is a very good young coordinator. Won’t release names until I get the go ahead. But the current HC is a big name, and the coordinator had one of if not the top ranked defense a season ago.

I’ve heard a couple interesting candidates are interviewing on Tuesday… Anybody else hearing the same?

Tom Greer and Jason Foley has some legs to it. I still predict Roberts at this moment, but there have been some conversations with all 3 of these coaches.

What happened to the Wade kid? I see he's listed as a '27 recruit. Is he still enrolled at PT?

I've seen some videos posted of Glasgow recently; it seems like they have some really good athletes for Holley to get the ball to. Curious to see if Glasgow can get over the hump this season.

Got confirmation that Paducah has officially received their transfer QB. 2028 QB Xavier Isable has played at both Warren East and Bowling Green High School. 3rd school in 3 years.

Glasgow would be asinine to keep that Candyland of a schedule moving forward. I don't see them being prepared enough to make it out of the second round if they keep the same opponents.

I have absolutely no horse in this race, but I'm just providing clarity from sources within and around the Glasgow program. Also, your point is deflated if you take out results from this year. Glasgow would then have more region title appearances than Murray within the past 7 years. As history shows, Glasgow definitely should be considered within the top 5. To your point though, I think Murray is a really good program, and Coach Cunningham has done an excellent job there.

Surely Coach Salmons can get over the hump this year. A lot of good players returning for Raceland to return to the carpet. On the flip side, you've got to think it's only a matter of time before Coach McNamee and Pikeville get back and re-up their dominance here soon. Raceland's time to win one is NOW!

Martin and Robbins were special. How will they fare against the other 3A opponents next season? Seems like the top 5 from what I can gather would be CAL, Lex Cath, Glasgow, Bell, and Murray? Am I missing anybody?
