Dragons Welcome New Head Football Coach

WCHS is excited to announce the hiring of Kenny Davidson as its next Head Football Coach. Davidson is a WCHS alum and comes to the Dragons after two seasons as Head Coach at Seneca High School in Louisville. Before his time at Seneca, Davidson's stops included Central HS, South Warren HS, Henry F. Moss MS, Warren Central HS, Caverna HS, and Bowling Green JHS. Davidson was a part of the SWHS coaching staff that led the Spartans to the 2021 KHSAA 5A State Championship. The new era of Dragon Football has just begun!

Congrats Coach Davidson!

This has been a tough job over the years, but he appears to know the culture with his previous stops in Warren County. Good luck to him.

From Warren Central Athletics:

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

WCHS Admin will formally introduce Coach Davidson as our next HC, followed by a Meet & Greet with our new leader! The introduction will take place on Monday, March 9, at 3 PM in the WCHS Library.

I like it!

Congrats Coach Davidson!!

Congratulations to Coach Davidson. Had every reason not to come back and still chose to put those kids and that community first. Regardless of what happens on the field, that’s a very high character move and I have to give a tip of the hat to Coach.

Having someone that 1) has been around the program before and 2) knows it’s an uphill battle will be very beneficial IMO.  I think some of the past hires were told what kind of situation the program was in, but didn’t REALLY grasp it until the season started.

Coach Davidson will do a great job.

Coach Davidson is awesome and I wish him the best!
