You better not sleep on GRC. They are still figuring things out but they have a chance to have another special year. They have a legit shot to be first team to repeat since fairdale in the early 90’s.

I’m experiencing the very same things. Very frustrating!

There are 6 2028 kids from Ky in the on3 national rankings. I can’t remember a class that strong from this state. #37-Josh Lindsay #55-Jordan Mitchell #67-Boogie Cook #119-Trey Hillerich #161-Grayson Burton #177-Ryder Akins

Jeremiah Jackson lead Ky in scoring with 24. He looked really solid. IN also had no answer for Feldhaus. 23 points 12 rebs on 10-12 shooting.

The GRC/moco rivalry is as heated as I've seen. Last year moco fans booed the GRC cheerleaders so bad they were confused as to what happened. A lot of bad blood between those two and unfortunately a lot of extra stuff happens by adults on social media between games.

One could make the case that Ryder Akins is the best player on GRC. Either way they are loaded.

I thought Montez Gay was the best player on his team.

Montez Gay is a top tier candidate in my opinion. Winning matters. Sacrificing numbers to play on a great team should be taken into consideration. I think Langhi has a good case as well. Keathley kid needs to exhibit some ability to play defense.

If you are a serious basketball player you can’t go wrong with GRC. Mont co has new coach. A lot of unknown. That program is always unstable. 3 coaches, 3 years. 11 coaches in 19 years. I can't fault the kid.

Malachi Ashford from GRC is missing. 2,000 point scorer, State Champion, State Tournament MVP. I’ve not seen someone guard the ball like him.

He can’t play the way he wants at GRC. They have really good players who sacrifice individual accolades for team success. Winning comes first. that's why they are State Champs. I think it would be a bad fit. I don't think he would be interested in going back to GRC and becoming the 4th or 5th option offensively. He can stay at Powell and take 15-20 shots a game.

I will make a wild prediction and say central will have to replace Grayson Burton also.

Sizemore to South Laurel and Davis to Corbin would be great for both those schools. Sizemore will be leaving a lot of talent. With all that success he’s had at bell they still do not get up for basketball. I've been to what I thought was a huge game at bell and 150 people would be watching. A lot like corbin. Davis to Corbin is an upgrade IMO. He will put the time in and hold kids accountable. I admire Tony as a coach but a change of scenery can be good for all parties. Can you imagine what Davis would do defensively with those Redhound football players?

Connor Morgunson transferred back to Powell County.

Not sure X has that much more talent. Lindsay and Jeremiah Jackson are great. Jordan Jackson is a project at this point. Chief is nice. GRC’s Montez Gay has 4 D1 offers as a Jr. Malachi Ashford has D1 offers. Soph Ryder Akins has 5 or 6 D1 offers with one from Providence, EKU and Tenn St.

South Laurel is a better job. Corbin basketball is third behind football and baseball. It was like that all the way back when billy hicks was there. His last year there the Redhounds were number one in the state before he bolted to rebuild scott county.

Wow! Happy Osbourne went 33-5! Would have done a lot to keep him around. Jason Holland 26-3?!?! What are the circumstances around coaches having success then leaving Montgomery Co? It appears the real successful coaches didn’t last longer than 1 year.

10 coaches in 19 tears?!?! I have never heard such a thing! I think I would stay away if I heard that.

How many coaches has Montgomery Co gone through over the past 20-25 years?

I would say coaches are getting sick of the rich getting richer in the 10th. As a response they vote the way they vote in protest.

Austin Sears and Ryder Akins on the third team? Something seems a little off. First team seems accurate. Those two should be on the second team. I would say coaches aren't willing to give credit to new players who transferred in.

Luke is going to UK today. I was told he felt like he tore something. Such a shame for that kid.

There seems to be a campaign to award Jake Feldhaus Mr Basketball but Spurlock would have my vote.

Seems like Feldhaus has the momentum. I think it should be Jonathan Moss. Its a travesty that amari owens is not in the running.
