I do not think Louisville has reached its ceiling under Brohm. I believe they are capable of reaching the CFP under his leadership, especially playing in the ACC. He is always due one really bad loss per year, but this year it has spiraled and resulted in multiple bad losses. I’m not sure what’s going on with the Cards. But I do not feel like they have reached their ceiling as a program with him at the helm.

This was definitely the worst week of the college football season. Not really any marquee games and all the top dawgs aren’t even playing D-1 schools. Next week should be a dandy though!

What’s going on with Louisville? It appears Jeff Brohm has lost this team. I’ve never seen a Brohm coached team just completely collapse like this. Three straight losses in games they were favored in. This is both teams Super Bowl. I’m going to give the edge to the Cards simply because they’re at home. 34-30 Louisville.

It seems like this Campbellsville pass defense has continued to improve in the latter part of the season, which seemed to be their main weakness early in the year. KCD is a team that doesn’t throw it around very much and that plays in favor of the Eagles. This game should be being played in Campbellsville, but the good ole RPI favors numbers over head to head results, which makes no sense to me. Give me Campbellsville to go on the road and win a close one, 28-24.

I think the weather does favor Covington Catholic, but I’m still leaning towards the Rebels in this one. The Rebels will be extra motivated after what happened last year and Coach Haddix will have them firing on all cylinders. Boyle 35 CC 21

Way too young. I know he’s been a few places and had success, but 24 years old (I think he’s 24) is far too young to be a high school head football coach. He would not be successful as a head coach at this point in his career. I think one day he will be though, just not yet.

The closer it gets to kickoff of this game, the more excited I am getting for it. I think people are underestimating Union County in this one. They have a very tough running back who can pack the load. The Glasgow defense has been one of the best in the state all season long, but they haven’t faced a very good schedule by any means. Plus, most of the kids on this Scotties team have never made it past the first round. I do think the Scotties win the game, but I believe it will be closer than what I originally thought and what most on here are expecting.

Leave school early, go eat a nice meal somewhere about halfway go wherever you’re going, then trek on to the stadium.

This Monroe team has been a fun team to keep up with and are fun to watch. Offensively, they’re very tough and a very balanced team with playmakers all over the field. QB Branson Williams is as tough as they come. However, they haven’t faced a defense like LCA. I think Monroe is capable of putting some points on the board, but not enough to keep up. Give me LCA 49-21.

I look forward to that 3rd round matchup between 12-0 Glasgow and 12-0 Murray (assuming both teams take care of business in round 2)

I like the Scotties in this one, but I think it’s a little closer than what most will be expecting. I think it was big for Glasgow to get tested in the final regular season game, because up to that point they hadn’t really been tested at all in multiple weeks. I believe Glasgow will be able to match the Braves physicality and will certainly have more athleticism at the skill positions. Give me the Scotties 35-15.

Murray wins big 42-13.

Props to Webster County for hanging tough and making the trip down to G town. They stood no chance, but showed up and kept fighting.

What a crazy comment. This isn’t anywhere near one of the best Monroe County teams Petett has had in his tenure. Those 2008, 2009 and 2012 teams running clock this years team.
