Congrats to Doug on a long and successful coaching career! We crossed paths in 1988 when I went to Paris and he was helping John Nochta at Bourbon County.  I will miss these old guys... and Doug is younger than me.

One of the good guys! Congrats to Coach on a great career and here’s to a good and deserved retirement.

Seen the name Jack Herron float some on the boards. Landing spot for a first time HC?

Could be a good fit. I would love to see Chad Lewis back on the sidelines at JH

Yes, I have seen Chad Lewis at John Hardin Games this fall, would be a natural fit for this program.

Congrats Doug Preston!!! Means there's one less team out there that'll wishbone ya, thank goodness!

"Let the Bone Roll" as Marty Jaggers always said back in our days together. Great saying.  I will add that JH has some good assistant coaches that would do a good job as the HC if they wanted to pursue that option.

Congratulations sir! Thank you for your time and dedication to young people and the game.

Does Doug plan to step away from teaching and continue coaching?
