I had actually heard that there were a few people wanting Haywood out. I was on top of the pressbox friday and heard alot of grumbling amongst fans about Haywood's play calling...don't really understand how anyone could say anything to Haywood about anything in regards to his football team.

I don't think that the Pikeville/Prestonsburg rivalry is over...I do know the Belfry rivalry is for now...

OJW, Belfry isn't my team. But if they were, I would still be realistic. Yes they got the win on the road at Pikeville. But they still gave up nearly 300 yards rushing. I don't know any other stat from the game, but to rush for 300 yards and NOT win is almost unheard of. It sounds to me that Belfry was very fortunate to get the win.

about even....the officiating was rediculous for BOTH teams..

Yes Belfry won....but this game showed that a team is capable of running ALL over them, and eventually the ball is going to bounce someone elses way. Yes I'd be happy with the win, but I'd be a little worried about my defense.

I'm sooo proud of this Prestonsburg team.. I'm glad to see the ball finally bounce our way (pun intended). They fought and fought and played like champions tonight. One of the best football games i've ever watched

ohhh pleasee.....Ashland still had Thomas in the last series running the ball, and they also threw a pass. I'm pretty sure everyone in the stadium was under the impression that Ashland was trying to score, so Pburg took their timeouts to set up the D. BTW..The Thomas kid is a GREAT back....

Not to mention Prestonsburg had a reciever drop a WIDE open pass with not a person within 10 yards of them...the game was alot closer then the score indicates..

If Prestonsburg played Paintsville's schedule, they would probably be 3-0. P-ville would be 0-2 with Pburgs. Prestonsburg has played the better teams and IMO will come out with a win. I'm gonna say by 2 Td's
