I agree with this statement. Landon got them back in it and then Pugh lets his ego get in the way of the TEAM. No way should he have taken that three late. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think Pugh hit a 3 all night. He would have been the 4th option to shoot it for those who were on the floor. It's a shame when kids have an opportunity to do something great, and they let their egos get in the way.

The refs tonight weren't even from the 15th Region and don't even know Landon Slone, so you can't say that they protected him, he did have 4 fouls called on him. And he is not the most overrated player EVER in the region, that could go to a couple of other players. I do believe he had 20+ points tonight, doesn't sound overrated to me.

Well first of all you didn't say "Gettin it done". And I didn't know that previous years determined outcomes of present games.....that makes alot of sense.

How do you get that one? Prior to tonight's defeat they were the ONLY school in the last 3 years to make it to the Semi's of the region. No they haven't won the regional tourney but in recent years they have won more tourney games then any team in the region except Valley.

I think that for the Regional tourney there is going to be seats in both endzones. The seats on the sides of the floor is right on the floor. Great idea IMO. Plenty of parking, and there will be alot more people come to the games.

I don't have any stats. Heard Leslie and Barnette played extremely well, with Leslie coming close to a triple double. I don't know if anyone is playing better basketball in the 15th then Prestonsburg.

Russell and Belfry will be early favorites.

WOW Leslie with 31? He and Barnette, when hitting, are TOUGH! Everyone thought that last year was going to be Pburg's year, but I think that this year they could very easily make a deep run in the tourney. Congrats to the Cats.

21-15 Prestonsburg after the first quarter, and it was all Prestonsburg after that. If Prestonsburg keeps shooting like they did tonight, they are going to be TOUGH for anyone to beat.

Prestonsburg entire season. In some Pre-season polls they were as high as #1. Ended the year a dismal 4-7.

Belfry once again. They lose 3 people that see significant playing time, I see them winning the region again.

What do expect from the Hall brothers (Shawn and Mike). They are TERRIBLE! I was fit to be tied last night. Betsy Layne is a really really good team, and very capable of beating Prestonsburg. However, Prestonsburg FOLDED in the 4th. The refs didn't help any but Prestonsburg has to learn to help themselves. They are a senior led team, but not all of them are experienced in the big game. When Prestonsburg grows up a little bit, they will certainly make a run come tournament time.

Hopefully he'll join the Bears. It was the best decision I ever made.
