McCracken County vs Marshall County Predictions/Updates
Joe Tracy replied to Joe Tracy's topic in KY Football (High School)
McCracken should win as they did play better against Mayfield. -
Have to play with what you have, I just thought the "ponies" played better than in the last 3 games. By the way where was Starks after the 1st half?
-
McCracken has improved believe or not. They scored 25 points on Mayfield. A kickoff touchdown by McCracken doesn't happen to Mayfield very often.

I'm not being argumentative, but you said my issue is the school. I would think the AD, the Principle would be the persons who decide and hire the coach. A former head coach already on the staff and with connections with all the football talent in McCracken County and Paducah would be the logical choice. I just don't see any of the 3-4 winning coaches within 200 miles of McCracken County better or willing to leave where they are now. -

Care to explain or reveal your issues with the school? -
Paducah Tilghman at Mayfield Predictions/Updates

A close game, no running clock would be respectable outcome for PT. I voted a win. -

The penalties have been the problem for years, it has to stop. -
Bowling Green 42 McCracken County 7

Earlier I thought they might have 5 win 5 loss season. I now think they will win 3. 4-5 wins would be a good season as the rebuild begins. -
McCracken County at Bowling Green Predictions/Updates

Well, the QB at Paducah Tilghman left McCracken as he supposedly was being overlooked under Coach Clark. Coach Clark also left as he just didn't get the Mustangs winning. McCracken Middle School program is only 1 team with 3 middle schools, so players are not being developed under Coach Corey Robinson the former Lone Oak Mr. Football. He is now the personal trainer of the Tilghman QB as well as an employee of James Marine who footed the bill for the new turf field. The owner of James Marine is the father of the Tilghman QB who threw for nearly 300 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 1st half against McCracken County Saturday night. McCracken hasn't had those 5-6 big time play makers the last 3 years. They have had 1-2 but just not enough. Hopefully Coach Smith can turn it around in 2-3 years. It won't be this year. -
Graves County at Paducah Tilghman Predictions/Updates

Tilghman will win easily against Graves, if they don't beat Mayfield this year and break the losing streak they will never win. -
McCracken County at Bowling Green Predictions/Updates
Joe Tracy replied to Purple88's topic in KY Football (High School)
The McCracken County School District now or in the past has never had strong football programs except Heath briefly and Lone Oak for a short time right before the consolidation. Basketball, along with Spring sports will most likely be McCracken County's strength. From time to time they will get those special athletes who can win the district and a game or two in the quarters or semis. The State is another kind of beast. -

Well, McCracken County didn't show up. I thought for 8-9 minutes in the 1st quarter they might have a slim chance. Then the flood gates opened. -

Tilghman poured it on, pulling out all their playbook in the 1st half. Someday McCracken can return the favor. -

The field does look great, gonna be an electric grand opening. -
Still not finished as I drove by this morning around 9:30 they were putting up goal posts and the parking lot has big bags of something. Game time is 7:00 PM Saturday night. Big tail gate party sponsored by CFSB for both Teams fans at 5:00 before the game.

McCracken County at Paducah Tilghman Predictions/Updates

Socially Distanced, you are right about school size and all that, my point is that the Tilghman supporters come out for the McCracken game in big numbers both adult fans and students. They do not come out for the Mayfield game as they have in the past. I've been at most Tilghman Mayfield games home and away since 1947. I have been at every Tilghman McCracken game they have played since McCracken County consolidation. -
McCracken County at Paducah Tilghman Predictions/Updates

It is standing room only at Paducah Tilghman and at McCracken County when they play each other, the Mayfield game when at Paducah Tilghman does not draw anywhere near the same size crowd of spectators. I agree that 100 years is a big deal, but it doesn't draw like it once did. -
McCracken County at Paducah Tilghman Predictions/Updates
Joe Tracy replied to Joe Tracy's topic in KY Football (High School)
Paducah Tilghman's expectations are off the chart with pregame hype of how good they are this year. A new field and the game becoming more important to PT than the Mayfield game. I expect a competitive game with a 22-17 score. McCracken wins. -

Parking will be at a premium as Tilghman has few close parking spots also the new street configuration on Jackson Street will get some killed if they are not careful.
