A dropped PT td pass with 36 seconds left sealed the deal for Union County. These two traded blows in one heck of a game. It had that playoff feel. 

PT ran the ball and ran it well. It's a step forward even in the loss in my opinion. Too many penalties played a factor yet again for Big Blue. 

Union remains undefeated at 8-0, PT drops to 3-5.

These two teams look about even to me.

 

This has to be draining and tough of the mental for the young men at Tilghman. They very well could be 6-2. But the games that come to the wire just slip away from them

Watched most of this game on FB Live. That pass should have been caught. I thought both defenses gave up a lot of unnecessary yardage on QB runs and draws. Use a spy for Pete’s sake. If PT cuts down penalties, or if this game is played on turf, I think PT wins.

Did anyone see the PI by Tilghman late in the 4th quarter?   My friend was there and said it was a really tough call for PT.

Announcers for PT said it was way overthrown, and uncatchable.  But in high school football there is no such thing as uncatchable.

In the video the camara man was late on turning the camara so I really couldn't see it.

Fortune favors the Braves! They've got Tilghman's number and they're staring at 10-0.

Nothing is locked in yet, but Tilghman may end up hosting a suddenly dangerous Taylor County in the first round. PT needs wins in the last two games to get some kind of momentum going or the season could slip away like sand through their fingers.

Didn't even look close to me, definitely a game changer. This is the first time after a loss this season that I actually felt like improvements were made. The running formula works and when Rider gets back along with Jordauyn White, who's been lights out in his absence, they will be tough to deal with. Malachi Rider's injury may be a blessing in disguise for PT come playoff time.

Completely agree lots of improvements.They still need to cut down on the penalty’s also.

My observation was how long Union County had possession of the football, not allowing PT more snaps. Union County also made some incredible catches on pass plays with lots of traffic around the catch to keep drives going. Tough loss for the Tornado.

Tough loss for PT; I knew it would be much closer than the records suggest.  I believe these two can meet again and I am excited for it.  Glad to see PT pounding it more.

I'm not sure I would want to have Taylor or Glasgow first round. Both of these teams are dangerous. I believe Taylor when healthy is a top tier team. They have the tanlet. They have used the last couple of weeks to heal. They made some changes on defense. It's gonna be an exciting playoffs 2022 in 3A.
