Henderson County 30 Paducah Tilghman 13

Physical, physical, physical was the name of the game. If you like hard hitting defense, you missed a good one.

PT had some key injuries and might be a concern going forward into district play.

PT showed some fight and for that I'm proud this week. This could easily have gotten way out of hand. Tilghman fumbled the ball 6 times and that's credit to that Henderson defense.

As far as Henderson, if I'm going by the good old eyeball test, this is the best team PT has played this season. The Colonels are a very good football team.

Hopefully these tough losses are building blocks for PT to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Henderson is the best team Boyle has played so far this season as well. They play hard and physical.

They were last season, I can only hope it has the same effect this year.

That they definitely do. They absolutely beat you down. I knew when they played Boyle pretty tough, it most likely meant our struggling offense was in for a long night.

This was my thought as well. I know everyone hates moral victories but this doesn't seem like a terrible result against a club that might well be the best non-Louisville team in Class 6A.

I also agree!

Who was injured for PT?

I was at the game.  The RB Malachi Rider got injured - some sort of arm injury that seemed pretty bad.  There was an OL named Fox that got injured (knee/leg I think).  And then there was a LB with last name of Adams.
I agree with T Pride - Henderson was very physical and it was a physical game.
