May not be a running clock, but Mayfield wins gong away way way way.

In the old days before McCracken county even had football Augusta Tilghman High School now Paducah Tilghman had 3 Junior High Schools all with football teams. They fed Tilghman 80-100 sophomore players every year that had a lot of game experience. The population of Paducah started dropping and eventually they consolidated to one middle school in Paducah and then Tilghman became a 9-12 Highschool. The county schools started football programs and Heath was the only one to ever win a state Championship. Before McCracken County built the new McCracken High School, Lone Oak had Jack Haskin led teams made the State Championship 2 times but lost both times. McCracken County has the fan base, facilities and the resources to win but still have not had a steady stream of more than 3-4 outstanding Football players. Lots of good players but not D1 talent like Louisville, Lexington etc. Trying to bring 3 middle schools together every day to practice has to be a night mare, so I agree that has hurt County football. I am a football fan and I root for Tilghman and McCracken County. Things will get better in time for both schools I hope in Football.

Sure would be a big win for McCracken if your prediction is correct, I've only seen in person the Tilghman game the rest I've watched on u-tube and red helmet. McCracken could have won the games against Bowling Green and Tilghman. Mayfield and Graves they were never in those games.

Tilghman wins if they stay focused after such a long layoff in mid season.

Graves is helping Mayfield's RPI, Tilghman and McCracken County are not. It's only a little afternoon in Western Kentucky for those Eastern guys.

That certainly could happen and that's why teams from across Kentucky other than Louisville in 6A may never win a State championship.

Trinity has such a reputation for winning that even after and 0-4 start they are still the 3rd ranked team in the State of Kentucky in 6A.

At this point Mayfield looks unbeatable in the regular season.

Agree, gonna be some soul searching in the off season.

Marshall, Christian, Apollo I would imagine Henderson and Daviess maybe, who knows on South Warren? I really thought with the QB under his belt and Bradley and Mayes going for the 5th year they would be much better but the wheels have fell off for sure.

Watched the Red helmet video on Facebook, the commentators did the best job I've heard of a game analyzing what's happening. I am a McCracken County fan.

Saw Hopkinsville play McCracken county in a scrimmage, and they won the game before they diverted to a controlled scrimmage after 2 quarters. Hopkinsville is like Paducah Tilghman with speedy playmakers on both sides of the ball. But their usual culprit is being undisciplined.

McCracken looks to regroup but Mayfield, South Warren, Davies County< Henderson loom large.

Daviess will handle McCracken, should win the district.

It will be 2-3 years before this school would be finished Juniors and sophomores now will most likely not be there, have to wait and see what's left when school is finally finished.

Well, if you mix it up I think it would help, if a team passes well against the blitz stands to reason if they have all day they will pass well. you can't cover receivers forever.

Well Mayfield Radio guys always use names familiar to only them in broadcasts, Marshall County does the same. Some times they just use a first name its broadcast only for their team listeners not the general audience.

So far McCracken played well enough to win but have not been able to make a play late, been ahead in both games.

Tilghman will score more than in the past, 28-27 Tilghman.

McCracken County has 132 players on the Roster, but usually only dress about 60-70 players for Varsity games. Admittedly they compete with city school Paducah Tilghman for players that live in the county school district that have friends in the city school district and vice versa. It will never happen but a Paducah/McCracken county consolidation could then compete with Louisville from time to time. Never has happened in Christian County/Hopkinsville. The same could be said for Mayfield/ Graves county.

Gonna be really hot and the sun will be right in the face of Bowling Green's bench, belter be hydrated or cramps will ensue.

Hadn't heard that about Bradley, but it certainly could be true. Noticed several players upset and emotional during the game when a couple times they just weren't set on defense and it resulted in a score for PT.
