I agree, but I don’t see them doing that. I believe Central will just take the place of Western Hills and the rest of the current district stays the same. Bardstown’s district would look different though in my opinion.

I don’t disagree with you. If whoever becomes the coach there, and if they have success, then they will have leverage to ask for more. This doesn’t look like an uncommon amount in a budget for a lot of schools like Adair. That may also speak to why they are where they are as well.

I'm not sure. Somebody who knows the transfer rules better than me would have to answer that. Just from what I know, his situation may allow him to play next season, but again, I'm not sure about that.

Rumor is, If Stonebraker comes to Adair, then a QB who lives in Adair but goes to school in another district, will transfer and play for Adair.

I hope Coach Parks does well and can succeed, but, I’m like most on here, I don’t get it. It seems like personal feelings against Clevenger is keeping him out. The coach that the town, alumni, and players want back at the helm is given the shaft because of “hurt feelings” rather than performance. I just want administrators at the schools in the Commonwealth to lay down their feelings and do what you get paid to do, and that’s to do what’s best for the students and school!

With 2A adding Belfry and Glasgow, it definitely makes it tougher. Crittenden County moving up and Middlesboro moving down, seems kinda like a wash to me. With 3A losing ETown, Paducah Tilghman, Ashland, Mason Co and others makes 3A look less impressive over all. Adding Lex Cath, Central and Franklin-Simpson helps the top end of the spectrum, but not many others except maybe Bourbon County would be a probable top 10. Knox Central would be in some years I’m sure. 4A is what got the biggest bump IMO and will be tough for good teams to crack the top 10. Whoever is in the top 10 of 4A going forward will be really really good. I’m excited to see how it all plays out!

Bourbon Co is north of Fayette Co and I believe is why it is with the northern schools like Lloyd Memorial and Pendleton Co.

I have seen someone suggest this for 3A. The post said travel would not be over 88 miles one way for any team. Plus Ashland and Mason County who played in the semis this year. Definitely a big shake up for 3A. Districts will look a lot different I believe except for maybe district 1 who loses Paducah Tilghman, but will probably gain Hopkins Co Central.

I'm a defensive guy so my obvious picks are going to be defensive players. Tommy Ziesmer for Boyle and Xavier Campbell for Beechwood. If I'm not mistaken, Campbell batted down three passes and two of them were back to back. Campbell put pressure on Mayfield's QB all afternoon and he absolutely tossed the right tackle out of the way on one of his pass rushes. I have been a fan of Ziesmer since I seen him as a freshman. He has just gotten stronger and better over his career and was a handful for the Corbin lineman all night long. Gavin Copenhaver from CAL also stands out in my mind. I know there were others that had great games, but these are my picks of the games that I watched.
