We have 12 great games to choose from.  Which game will be the Most Competitive on Friday?  And Why?

This is my favorite week of High School Football.  Happy Thanksgiving!

1A

Newport Central Catholic at Pikeville

Holy Cross (Louisville) at Raceland

2A

Lloyd Memorial at Beechwood

Lexington Christian at Mayfield

3A

Mason County at Bardstown

Ashland Blazer at Christian Academy-Louisville

4A

Central at Boyle County

Franklin County at Corbin

5A

Owensboro at Frederick Douglass

Bowling Green at Southwestern

6A

Male at Ballard

Bullitt East at Bryan Station

As a Beechwood fan I hope it is LCA/Mayfield.  May they play five OTs. 

I voted for the Bowling Green/Southwestern game, but I think Male/Ballard will also be a slugfest.  Athletes all over creation at that one.

5 point game - Bullitt East / Bryan Station
4 point game - Mayfield / Lexington Christian Academy
3 point game - Bardstown / Mason County
2 point game - Male / Ballard
1 point game - Southwestern / Bowling Green

Who would you rather play in the championship? Both make me nervous. 

Both of the 6A games and tough to pick one.

That LCA/Mayfield game seems to be a possible winner.  But, Mason County/Bardstown could be the one too.  Those are my top two picks.

We have beat LCA in the finals the last two years and both of those teams were better than this one so I say give someone else a chance.  Also, Mayfield has owned Beechwood over the years and I want to play them every year.  Finally, considering what happened in Mayfield last year, if any team wins 2A other than Beechwood I want it to be Mayfield.  So to answer your question, Mayfield.

Many of them would not be upsets either way and the others look like tough sledding for the lesser teams.

 The only 2 games that I would consider major upsets if the underdog won would be the 1A games. Some of the others would be upsets but would not be shocking to me.

Those two are on a course for destiny.  If anything interrupts that, it would be an upset for sure.
