Let’s be real outside of Trinity, and Boyle County is there anyone who will even keep a close quarter to CAL? FC did play against a CAL team with probably a legit 6-10 D-1 players, 2 which were JR All-Americans last year and 1 upcoming JR who’s top 5 in the Country as we speak. Not putting too much into the scrimmage.

Can’t count the Flyers out when it comes to getting better as the season goes. But who do they get to step up and replace all the skill pieces on both sides the ball you had for back to back State Finals.

Is Jeremiah related to James?

Not even a chance if he doesn’t throw for them numbers? Unless he’s straight awful he can’t? If right basically until this year on offense the talent he’s played with isn’t close to what those guys had and he’s done it since a true freshman.

Leading 3 straight championships as a true Freshman QB and maybe a 4th. Could Zane go down as best QB all time?

Driver is too. He dominated on the defense side that run to state last year. In the championship against Franklin County he did what he wanted on defense.

He’s originally from Louisville and was on the national back to back travel team Louisville Chargers when they was 11 and 12. UofL has locked up multiple kids from that team now.

Know this kid and the family personally have watched him grow up. Love to see it and congratulations!

Man wish Woodford and Franklin Co lock this back in.

Yea that would be the case in most situation we talking about an high school all-star game as graduating seniors. One that’s been dominated by Indiana at that. The guys from the Lexington area he’s coached against last 4 years. Including Lexingtons all-time leading scorer, and a kid who was the MVP of the 16. This was those players last chance to play in front of friends and family. Also We saw the guys he chose to play them over and outside 1 there’s no reason they all should’ve played way more the way that game was going.

Johnson has looked like that all 4 years IMO against actual competition and big games. Been same height and size since 8th grade and his game never got better.

Would you waste your time and come if you know you’re not going to play? This felt personal on the coach behalf towards certain kids. Not saying KY wins but anyone who’s watched the careers of Ashford, Owens and Suratt knows they are dawgs and make this game more interesting. Not to mention they’re playing in front of all their friends and families at home in Lexington one last time before college. Owens literally walked across the stage for graduation a couple hours before the game. Salsman knew what he was doing.

Think Mayer was top 50 and number 1 TE coming out.

Recently Wandale Robinson out of Western Hills. He was the #1 athlete and a top 60 recruit in the country at 5’6. Then before that Damien Harris out of Madison Southern. He was the #1 RB and a top 10 recruit.

Omari Jointer has he top 3-5 next year from Woodford.

Regardless of if or when, this would’ve been the best year for Trinity and CAL to play. A lot of seniors and Juniors who played together on those back to back Louisville Chargers National Championship Tavel teams years ago are on both teams. All kids winning multiple state titles for both schools. This would’ve brought the whole city out at Cardinal stadium and big time life bragging rights. Would’ve had a Brohm vs Bush game feel.

Right hire can continue building this program in right direction. City of Lexington is open this year in terms of who’s the best team.

Would love to see Woodford Co and Franklin Co go back to playing each other again. Both programs doing well and has been a crazy atmosphere each year they play for years. Curious to see if Omari Jointer sticks to football for his senior year he’s consider a top 5-10 player for Mr. Ky basketball.

Going with the Ravens. They have power 4 talent across the entire field. Crazy no one on here talks about Garyon Hobbs being a starter and key Contributor on the last 2 Louisville Christian Championships.

Martels Carter was the clear cut difference in the championship game last year. If FC can maintain the PT pressure I’m goin with a close FC win.

That’s crazy. Especially knowing his mom was loved at Male and Cole been playing since a 8th grader.

Tough times and hate to see where Frankfort High has fallen to after a rich Football Tradition. Josh Smith would be my idea for this job. He knows families in Frankfort, can get kids to actually stay at FHS. Most important he knows Frankfort and will have a true understanding of how to deal and run this program. IMO he could turn this back around similar to the hire for Danville.

What happen at Male for Cole to leave and go to Ballard?

Thurman Wade is no longer at Woodford he is at Fredrick Douglas.

Why leave right before the season starts smh.
