Open Job: Frankfort

Featured Replies

Saw Coach McKinney is now an assistant at Centre. Who will be coaching the Panthers this season?

Yes, it is open.

McKinney put them in a terrible spot.

Why leave right before the season starts smh.

He might think it will put him in consideration to become Centre's next head coach.  The person they hired is listed as an "interim coach".

He's lived in Danville for years.  Did he move to Frankfort when he was coaching there or did he just drive it?  He might want to stay in Danville.

I mean I partially understand with it being a college job, but yeah, it’s a tough look.

I'm sure Ed can walk to Centre Gym from his house.  He's been a fixture in the Danville community for years.  Tough break for the Frankfort kids though.

So this is an interesting twist.

Kids up and leave their coaches all the time but if a coach does it’s “a tough look”

***I’m just joking as this has always been the college fan reply (about coaches leaving) before the transfer portal.
