An AP #3 shouldn’t have to run anything fancy to hammer Greenup County at their own field.

Breathitt beats a Greenup county team, who won’t win a playoff game by 7 at home. Not an impressive win to me. They should fall out of the top 3 in the AP Poll. Not talking about the Preps poll. Should have clarified in original post!

You make a good point. I’ll admit I don’t know much about Martin County this year. I won’t even get to make the game Friday. From the comments I’ve seen on this post though, I now feel like the comets should definitely win by more than my original prediction which is fine by me!

The Comets (5-0) head down to Martin County (3-2) for a big district showdown. I’ll take West Carter by 12.

Final from Olive Hill. Comets continue their assault on Class 2A District 8.

This should take Danville out of the top 5. I think that ranking was a bit premature anyways. Somerset shows everyone why they’re the top dog in 2A.

If Paintsville can win all three of those games they should be the undisputed #1 ranked team in the class going into the playoffs. However, I don’t see them winning all three.
